Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a bank note containing device which reliably contains used bank notes, is prevented from the occurrence of a jam of bank notes, and stabilized in quality by a method wherein a resilient body for preventing displacement of a bank note to nip approximately the central part of a bank note between a guide plate and the resilient body when the bank note is moved to the containing part side is arranged to a press plate. CONSTITUTION:When a bank note 8 conveyed to the bank note conveyance passage of a stacker part is moved to a containing part, a press plate 17 to which a spring 21 for preventing displacement of a bank note is disposed is used. Thus, even when, in a friction force by means of which a bank note 8 is escaped from left and right passages 9 and 10, the friction force on the passage 10 side is increased, the central part of the bank note 8 is nipped by a bank note displacement preventing spring 21, arranged to the press plate 17, in cooperation with a guide plate 13 by means of a holding force higher than a friction high enough to allow escape of the end surface of the bank note from the passages 9 and 10. Thus, unevenness occurs to a force enough for escape of the bank note from the passages 9 and 10, the bank note 8 is prevented from lateral displacement, and through one full reciprocating operation of a slide plate 11, the bank note 8 can be reliably contained.

2. Description of the Related Art A bill validator bill storage device used in a conventional vending machine will be described below. FIG. 7 is a vertical sectional view of a conventional bill validator. Reference numeral 1 denotes a bill insertion slot, to which a bill conveyance path 2 having an identification unit is connected, and further, the bill conveyance path 2
The banknote transport passage 3 of the stacker unit 7 is connected to the extension of the. On the other hand, the stacker unit 7 of this bill validator has a structure as shown in FIG. 8 which is a sectional view taken along line XX of FIG. 7, and the bills are completely stored by the series of operations shown in FIGS. Now, in the bill discriminating apparatus configured as described above, when a bill is inserted from the bill insertion slot 1, it is detected by the optical sensor 4 arranged on the entrance side of the bill conveyance passage 2 and the conveyance belt 5 rotates, The conveyance of banknotes is started. The bills are passed through the identification means 6 on the way to be checked for authenticity. If the bills are judged to be false, they are returned to the bill insertion slot 1. It is transported up to 3. Next, in the stacker unit 7, the slide plate 11 forming the left and right passages 9 and 10 of the banknote 8 moves in the direction of the arrow 12 to move the central portion to the guide plate as shown in FIGS. 9 and 10. Both sides of the banknote 8 held by 13 slip out from the left and right passages 9 and 10 of the slide plate, and the storage portion 14 on the upper surface side of the passage portion.
Move to. Next, when the slide plate 11 returns to the original state, the banknote 8 is moved to the storage section 14 side as shown in FIG. 11, and the operation of the stacker section 7 is completed. 1
Reference numeral 5 denotes a bill pressing plate, which is constantly pressed by the spring 22 in the direction A of the arrow and has a role of holding the stored bills 8 in an aligned state while always compressing them.

However, in such a conventional configuration, when the banknote 8 is pulled out from the passage portions 9 and 10 formed on the left and right sides of the slide plate 11 as shown in FIGS. When a difference in frictional force occurs, for example, when the frictional force for the banknote 8 to exit the passage 9 requires a force larger than the force for the banknote 8 to exit the passage 10, the banknote 8 moves the slide plate 11. With passage 10
When the banknote 8 is pulled out of the banknote 8 and one end of the banknote 8 moves while being pulled by the passage 9, and one reciprocating motion of the slide plate 11 is completed, one side of the banknote 8 is stored in the storage section 14 as shown in FIG.
The state that does not move to occurs. When such a state occurs, one side of the banknote 8 remains in the banknote transport passage 3 of the stacker unit 7, so that when the leading edge of the banknote 16 that is conveyed next reaches the stacker unit 7, the banknote 8 , 16 were folded. The present invention solves such a problem, and an object of the present invention is to provide a bill storage device that does not cause a jam of bills.

With this configuration, when the banknotes reaching the banknote transport passage of the stacker section are moved to the storage section, the substantially central portion of the banknotes is sandwiched between the banknote deviation preventing elastic body and the guide plate. Therefore, it is possible to stably perform the bill storage operation without causing the left and right shifts of the bill, and it is possible to provide a highly reliable bill storage device in which the inserted bill is not jammed in the middle.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. The same parts as those in the conventional example are designated by the same reference numerals. FIG. 6 is a vertical sectional view. Reference numeral 1 is a bill insertion slot, and a bill conveyance path 2 having an identification unit is connected to the bill insertion slot 1. Further, on the extension of the bill conveyance path 2, a bill conveyance path 3 of a stacker unit 7 is provided. It is connected. On the other hand, the stacker unit 7 of this bill validator
1 has a configuration as shown in FIG. 1 which is a sectional view taken along line XX in FIG. 6, and the banknote 8 is completely stored by the series of operations shown in FIGS. Now, in the bill discriminating apparatus configured as described above, when a bill is inserted from the bill insertion slot 1, it is detected by the optical sensor 4 arranged on the entrance side of the bill conveyance passage 2 and the conveyance belt 5 rotates, The conveyance of the bill 8 is started. The bill 8 is passed through the identification means 6 on the way to be subjected to the authenticity determination, and when it is determined to be false, the bill insertion slot 1
When the bill is returned to the banknote and is determined to be a genuine bill, the bill is conveyed as it is to the bill conveyance passage 3 of the stacker unit 7. Next, in the stacker unit 7, the slide plates 11 forming the left and right passages 9 and 10 of the banknote 8 move in the direction of the arrow 12 so that the central part of the banknote is held by the guide plate 13. Both sides of 8 are the left and right passages 9 and 10 of the slide plate 11.
2 and 3 and moves to the storage portion 14 on the upper surface side of the bill transport passage 3. Next, when the slide plate 11 returns to the original state, the banknote 8 moves to the storage section 14 area side as shown in FIG. 4, and the operation of the stacker section 7 is completed. A pressing plate 17 is constantly pressed by a spring 22 in the direction of arrow A, and has the role of holding the stored banknotes 8 in an aligned state while always compressing them. Further, FIG. 5 shows the pressing plate 17, in which a bill misalignment preventing spring 21 is provided to prevent the bills from being laterally displaced during storage. By using the pressing plate 17 provided with the bill misalignment prevention spring 21 as shown in FIG. 5, the friction force for the bill 8 to slip out from the left and right passages 9 and 10 in the bill storing operation is obtained. Even when the side becomes large, as shown in FIG. 2, the bill deviation prevention spring provided on the holding plate 17 has a holding force that is overwhelmingly larger than the friction force required for the bill end surface to slip out from the passages 9 and 10. 21, the central portion of the bill 8 is guided by the guide plate 13
Since the bills 8 are sandwiched and sandwiched, the bills 8 can be reliably stored by one reciprocating movement of the slide plate 11 without shifting the bills 8 to the left or right even if the force for exiting the passages 9 and 10 varies. Is possible.

As described above, according to the present invention, since the bill deviation preventing spring is arranged on the pressing plate, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of left-right deviation of the bill during the storing operation.
Can securely store used banknotes without jams,
It is possible to provide a bill storage device of stable quality.
