Abstract

PURPOSE:To sterilize safely inside of a bottle without using sterilizer or the like by a method wherein sterilized substitute or sterilizing gas is introduced into the bottle to take place of gas in the bottle and at the same time, sterilizing and/or cleaning liquid is introduced into the bottle. CONSTITUTION:A bottle 3 fed into a sterile room 1 and reversed by a reversing means 5 is being transferred in a direction of an arrow by a driving of a transfer means 7 in a state in which its mouth part is held by a bottle neck holder 6. While the bottle is being transferred, first a nozzle 8 is inserted into a mouth part of the bottle 3 by an elevator 12, and then sterilized gas or sterilizing gas is jetted out of a liquid jetting nozzle 9 of the nozzle 8, so that the gas takes place of gas in the bottle 3. At the same time of or in succession to this replacement, hot water is released out of a hot water jetting nozzle 10, whereby the temperature of an inner wall of the bottle is raised up to a sterilizing one. In this way the bottle 3 is sterilized, and then transported to a charging process while it is kept sterile by any proper method.

In this case, in order to completely replace the gas inside the bottle 3 with sterile gas or the like, it is desirable to inject a larger amount of sterile gas or sterilizing gas than the capacity of the bottle 3. .. For example, 4 to the capacity of the bottle 3
By injecting about 6 times as much sterile gas, etc. at a gas pressure of about 1 to 3 kg / cm 2 , the inside of the bottle is almost completely replaced with sterile gas, etc., due to the synergistic effect with the subsequent hot water sterilization. Can achieve high sterilization efficiency. Examples of the germicide-containing gas include ozone air. However, in order to make the best use of the original quality of the filling material, it is desirable to use sterile gas such as sterile air.
When the gas injection nozzle 9 is inserted into the bottle 3, the height of the nozzle head is 0 to 5 from the mouth of the bottle 3 to the inside.
The height should be about cm. This allows the container 3

In the above sterilization treatment, hot water is 70 ° C.
As described above, it is preferable to use a bottle having a temperature lower than the heat resistant temperature of the bottle 3. In particular, it is preferable to introduce hot water under the above conditions corresponding to the condition that the inner wall of the bottle is kept at 70 ° C for 10 seconds or more. Further, the hot water sterilization treatment is preferably performed immediately after the gas injection by the gas injection nozzle 9, but can be performed at the same time. In addition, for example, a device (not shown) for showering hot water from above the bottle 3 may be provided in the zone B of the sterile room 1 to heat the outer wall of the bottle. Thereby, the efficiency of the internal hot water sterilization can be further enhanced. In addition to the above-mentioned hot water introduction treatment, ozone water introduction, sterilization treatment by introduction of chemical-containing water, etc. may be adopted, or cleaning treatment with cleaning water may be adopted.
