Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure that printing accuracy is enhanced and dust collection effects are increased without spoiling properties such as the adhesion of a sheet or printing suitableness by adding a specified amount of either one or both of an electroconductive carbon fiber and carbon black, to a specific rubber compound, and thereby giving the hardness of rubber a specific value of adhesion. CONSTITUTION:This dusting adhesive material contains 5 to 40 pts.wt. of either or both of an electroconductive carbon fiber or electroconductive carbon black for 100 pts.wt. of rubber compound mainly consisting of a butyl rubber imparted with adhesion. The hardness of the surface rubber is 10 to 50 deg. in terms of adhesion. In addition, the dusting adhesive material 13 constituted in an endless belt fashion, spread between guide rolls 14, 15, is pressed tightly against the surface of a sheet 12 by descending action of the guide rolls 14, 15, if dust is detected.

Thus, the adhesive rubber mainly composed of butyl rubber constituting the surface of the dust removing adhesive material has a high electric insulating property as a rubber and touches sheets for removing dust. At this time, static electricity is easily generated, the sheets from which dust has been removed are charged and dust around them easily adheres, and the static electricity generated on the sheets moves to the surrounding area, causing electrostatic shock or sparks. Also, troubles such as distortion of the sheets are likely to occur.

Therefore, an antistatic agent was blended with the adhesive rubber constituting the surface of the dust removing adhesive material, but most of the commercially available antistatic agents have a hydrophilic surfactant as a main ingredient, and the surface active agent is The adhesive strength of the adhesive rubber is impaired by the agent, and the antistatic agent is transferred to the sheets for packaging foods and pharmaceuticals, making it unusable for packaging foods and pharmaceuticals.
In addition, new problems such as deterioration of quality such as adhesiveness and printability of sheets have occurred.

The rubber hardness of the adhesive rubber constituting the surface of the dust removing adhesive material can be adjusted depending on the amount of the oil compounded in the rubber compound, and the adhesiveness is the adhesiveness of polybutene or low molecular weight butyl rubber. It can be adjusted by the imparting agent, but the rubber hardness and the tackiness are generally inversely proportional, and when the rubber hardness is 10 degrees or less, the molding process becomes difficult and the strength, durability, dimensional stability and the like are remarkably lowered. On the other hand, when the rubber hardness exceeds 50 degrees, the adhesiveness is lowered and the function of adhesively removing dust is lost.

Therefore, the surface rubber hardness of the dust removing adhesive material is set to 10 to 50 degrees, and the adhesiveness is 10 g of weight (weight) observed when measured by the following procedure without sticking for 60 seconds or more. It is left as it is, 1 to 50 g weight
It is necessary to make it fall within 60 seconds. (1) Outer diameter 60 mm with peripheral surface formed of adhesive rubber
Wipe the roll twice with a volatile organic solvent (alcohol). (2) A 0.2 mm thick aluminum plate having an area of 1 cm 2 is crimped with a fingertip for 60 seconds on the lower peripheral surface of the above-mentioned roller whose shaft center is hoisted horizontally, and the hook at the center of the aluminum plate is pressed. A 10 g weight for a fine balance, which is bound with a nylon thread, is hung, and the time until the aluminum plate is peeled off from the peripheral surface of the roll and dropped is measured. (3) If the aluminum plate does not peel off with the 10 g weight within 60 seconds, the weight of the weight is set to 20 g and the test is performed again. If the weight does not peel off within 60 seconds, the weight of the weight is further reduced. Test again after increasing the weight by 10 g until the weight peels off from the peripheral surface of the roll within 60 seconds and then falls in the same manner by increasing the weight of the weight by 10 g each time and within 60 seconds. The degree of tackiness is indicated by the weight of the weight that has peeled off and dropped and the time until it peels off and falls.

When the dust collecting adhesive is formed into a sheet, an adhesive or adhesive having a stronger adhesiveness than the adhesive rubber laminate is laminated on the back surface of the base fabric opposite to the adhesive rubber laminate to remove dust. It is also possible to make a dust removing adhesive plate or dust removing adhesive roll by adhering the removing adhesive material to the mother body.

It cannot be said that the larger the compounding amount of the conductive carbon fiber and the conductive carbon black applied for preventing the static electricity of the sheets, the better. If it is too large, the rubber hardness exceeds 50 degrees. It becomes difficult to control the adhesiveness, and from the experimental results, the conductivity of the dust removing adhesive 13 for preventing static electricity is
The optimum resistance value is 10 3 5 Ωcm. H. C (meaning 40 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the rubber compound, which is an abbreviation for per-handred compound) and below.

On the other hand, in order to prevent electrification, it is necessary to impart electric conductivity to the adhesive rubber so that the electric resistance value is 10 9 Ω · cm or less. For that purpose, a conductive carbon fiber and a conductive carbon black are used in combination. , The total blended amount of them is 5P. H. It is necessary to set C or more, and in this case, the compounding ratio of the conductive carbon fiber and the conductive carbon black may be 1: 1 to 7.

Because the particles of the conductive carbon black blended in the rubber compound are individually separated and independently insulated and dispersed in the rubber compound, a large amount of these particles are close to each other. If it is not blended, the antistatic effect does not occur, while if a large amount of conductive carbon black is blended, the tackiness decreases. Therefore, in order to electrically connect the dispersed conductive carbon black, it is necessary to add a conductive carbon fiber, and in order to make the adhesive rubber conductive without impairing the adhesiveness, the conductive carbon is required. Conductive carbon fibers are more effective than black.

However, since the conductive carbon fiber is in the form of elongated fibers, it is difficult to disperse it uniformly in the rubber compound, and in order to make the conductivity of the adhesive rubber uniform, it is easy to disperse the conductive carbon black in particulate form. Is required.

EFFECT OF THE INVENTION Since the dust removing adhesive according to the present invention is made conductive by the conductive carbon fiber and the conductive carbon black, not by the surfactant or the metal powder, it does not become heavy and difficult to handle. The bleeding of the surfactant does not impair the adhesiveness and printability of the sheets, and there is no scratch mark on the surface of the sheets. Since it is removed, the printing accuracy is improved, the dust removal effect is enhanced, and the dustproof effect after that also occurs, there is no electrostatic shock or spark generation during use, and since butyl rubber is the main material, moisture and As a dust-removing adhesive roll for printing synthetic paper and plastic films, which are not easily attacked by organic solvents and are easily rotated at high speed to generate static electricity. That is convenient.
