脱穀装置と側部タンクとの間の伝動装置の点検や脱穀装
置側部の掃除口より脱穀装置内部の整備、掃除等を行う
ことができるのはもとより、脱穀装置の上方から扱室内
の点検や掃除を行う場合、脱穀フィードチェンの外側方
位置即ち機体外側の広々として足場の良い場所から上部
タンクに邪魔されることなく容易且つ安全に作業するこ
とができる。また、脱穀フィードチェンの整備や詰まっ
た穀稈の除去等も、上部タンクが障害となることなく脱
穀フィードチェンの外側位置から確実に行うことができ
る。
