Conventional orthodontic treatment methods have involved fitting metal bands with attachments to the teeth, fixing them to the teeth using cement, and moving the teeth by passing metal wires through the metal bands. In this case, the orthodontic force (the stress that actually moves the teeth) is mainly made using the elasticity of the metal wire itself, and this orthodontic treatment device is generally called a full ring device and is currently widely used. However, the treatment technique of this full-band ring device requires skill and effort, such as special skills to accurately fit the metal band to the teeth and complicated methods of bending the metal wire, which not only causes pain to the patient, but also causes oral hygiene problems such as food waste. Not only do they cause complications such as cavities and periodontal disease due to their adhesion, but they often place a mental burden on patients, and they also have the drawbacks of high treatment costs.

As a means to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks, a mouthpiece-type orthodontic treatment instrument made of polyurethane resin has been developed as shown in Japanese Patent Publication No. 53-32998 filed by the same inventor as the present inventor. Since this method uses only the elasticity of the polyurethane resin material to straighten teeth, the orthodontic force is small, so it is only possible to perform partial treatment on a few teeth, and the treatment range is extremely narrow. In addition, since the normal dentition is used as a fixation source for applying orthodontic force, there is a problem in that unnecessary force is applied to the normal dentition.

The second invention is to individually manufacture original upper and lower jaw models made of plaster based on impressions taken from the upper and lower jaws of a patient with malocclusion, and to replace the mandibular body of the patient with malocclusion with the maxillary body. The wax bite, in which the relationship between the upper and lower teeth has been taken while guided to the normal position, is bitten by the original upper and lower jaw models, and the models are accurately attached to an articulator for denture production; The individual teeth showing malposition on the original upper and lower jaw models are separated and divided one by one from the base, and the divided teeth are artificially moved to orthodontically correct positions to normalize the entire dentition. The occlusion was rearranged, and this split tooth was fixed with wax on the base of the original upper and lower jaw models. The occlusal relationship of the model, which had become a normal dentition, was captured using a wax bite, and the alignment was rearranged. A working upper and lower jaw model made of plaster was created by taking impressions of the upper and lower dentition from the original upper and lower jaw models again, and the wax bites of the normal dentition were used as the working upper and lower jaw models. In this state, the inner bow portion of the traction device consisting of an inner bow and an outer bow made of metal wire is bent into a horizontal zigzag shape in the wax bite, and the tip of the inner bow forms a mouthpiece as described below. burying it in such a way that it reaches near the rear end of the mold, attaching and fixing it with wax, and forming a mouthpiece mold with a wax bite and paraffin wax around the inner bow between the working upper and lower jaw models; This mouthpiece mold with a traction device is buried together with the working upper and lower jaw models in plaster in a split mold container.
The split container is then heated to melt and discharge only the paraffin wax and wax bite portions out of the container, and the melted and discharged mouthpiece-shaped negative mold is injected or filled with silicone resin, which is then polymerized under pressure and heat. A method for manufacturing an orthodontic treatment appliance made of silicone resin material with a traction device.

In actual use, as shown in Figure 3, depending on the type of malocclusion and the purpose of treatment, the outer bow should be tilted upward at 20 degrees (applicable to maxillary prognathism) or downward at 20 degrees (applicable to maxillary prognathism). In the former case, a locking device 19 is fixed to the head, and a rubber band 21 is strung around it and then pulled upward (the fourth method).
In the latter case, a locking device 19 is fixed to the neck, and a rubber band 21 is stretched around the locking device and then pulled downward (see FIG. 5). Also, depending on the case,
There is also a case where it is pulled horizontally backward with respect to the occlusal plane (see FIG. 6), and in this case, the angle adjuster 20 attached to the locking tool 19 and the rubber band 21 are connected and used. The traction of this rubber 21 is usually 600~
Although 800g is appropriate, the value is appropriately selected depending on various conditions.

Next, to explain the second invention of the present invention in order, Fig. 7 is a side view of the upper and lower tooth rows of a patient with maxillary protrusion (protrusion), in which the front teeth of the upper dental arch 6 are connected to the lower dental arch. Figure 8 shows an example of a malocclusion in which the front teeth protrude forward by a distance l from the front teeth of No. A side view of the jaw position of the upper and lower jaws being measured using the wax bite 8a, with the upper and lower jaws moved forward (intentionally moved forward) to improve the anteroposterior positional relationship of the upper and lower jawbones. It is a diagram. Here, for the purpose of producing models of the upper and lower dentition, individual impressions of the dentition are taken, and original upper and lower jaw models 9 and 10 of both dentition are made using plaster. The obtained wax bite 8a is then bitten into this model (this original upper and lower jaw model has been restored to the same state as the actual oral cavity).

Next, the original upper and lower jaw models 9 and 10 made of plaster fixed with the wax bite 8a are attached to the articulator 11 using plaster (see Figure 9), and then the wax bite 8a is removed and the original upper and lower jaw models 9 and 10 are attached. The malpositioned teeth above are separated from the base and divided vertically to create split teeth 12 (see Figure 10), and these split teeth 12 are rearranged to their normal positions to create a unique normal occlusion that is orthodontically ideal. (11th
12), another wax bite 8b is obtained in this state. Realigned and restored upper and lower jaw models 9,
By taking impressions of the upper and lower jaw rows again from step 10, working upper and lower jaw models 13 and 14 made of plaster are obtained (see FIG. 13).

[Scope of Claims] 1. An orthodontic treatment instrument main body formed of an elastic transparent material made of silicone resin into a substantially U-shape in plan view, and an orthodontic treatment instrument main body formed of an elastic transparent material made of silicone resin, and an orthodontic treatment instrument main body that is mounted on the upper and lower occlusal surfaces of the main body at orthodontically correct positions. An orthodontic treatment instrument comprising a number of concave molds formed for fitting orthodontic teeth, and several ventilation holes bored in the front part between the upper and lower concave molds of the main body, the main body comprising: The vicinity of the tip of the inner bow of the metal traction device is bent into a horizontal zigzag shape between the upper and lower concave molds, and the tip of the inner bow is buried so as to reach near the rear end of the main body. The outer bow of the towing device is arranged so as to be substantially parallel to the outer surface of the main body at a constant distance, and the rear tip of the outer bow is bent into a hook shape. An orthodontic treatment device made of silicone resin with a traction device. 2 Based on the impressions taken from the upper and lower jaws of patients with malocclusion, original plaster casts of the upper and lower jaws are made individually, and the body of the mandible of the patient with malocclusion is placed in the normal position relative to the body of the maxilla. The wax bite, in which the relationship between the upper and lower dentition has been obtained while being guided, is bitten into the original upper and lower jaw model, and the model is accurately attached to an articulator for denture production. The individual teeth that show malposition on the model are separated from the base one by one and divided, and the divided teeth are artificially moved to orthodontically correct positions to rearrange the entire tooth row into normal occlusion. The split teeth were fixed with wax on the base of the original upper and lower jaw models, and the occlusal relationship of the models with normal dentition was obtained using a wax bite. A working upper and lower jaw model made of plaster is created by taking impressions of the upper and lower dentition from the lower jaw model again, and the above wax bite of the normal dentition is engaged with the above working upper and lower jaw model, and this state is obtained. The inner bow part of the traction device, which consists of an inner bow and an outer bow made of metal wire, is bent into a horizontal zigzag shape in the wax bite, and the tip of the inner bow is a mouthpiece-shaped rear end as described below. A mouthpiece shape is formed using wax bite and paraffin wax around the inner bow between the working upper and lower jaw models. The mouthpiece mold, together with the working upper and lower jaw models, is buried in plaster in a split mold container, and then the split mold container is heated to melt and discharge only the paraffin wax and the wax bites out of the container. A method for manufacturing an orthodontic treatment instrument made of a silicone resin material with a traction device, characterized in that a discharged mouthpiece-shaped negative mold is injected or filled with silicone resin, and this is polymerized under pressure and heat.
