In the conventional orthodontic treatment method, a metal band with an attachment attached is fitted to the tooth, fixed to the tooth using cement, and a metal wire is passed through the band to move the tooth. In this case, the orthodontic force (the stress that actually moves the teeth) is mainly made using the elasticity of the metal wire itself, and this orthodontic treatment device is generally called a full band tapping device and is currently widely used.

However, the treatment technique of this full-band ring device requires skill and effort, such as special skills to accurately fit the metal band to the teeth and complicated methods of bending the metal wire, which not only causes pain to the patient, but also causes oral hygiene problems due to the loss of gold pieces. Due to the adhesion, it not only causes complications such as cavities and periodontal disease, but also often places a psychological burden on the patient, and the treatment costs are high.

As a means of solving the above drawbacks, a mouthpiece-type orthodontic treatment instrument made of polyurethane resin has been developed as shown in Japanese Patent Publication No. 53-32998 filed by the same inventor as the present inventor. Since the piece uses only the elasticity of the polyurethane resin material to straighten the teeth, the orthodontic force is small, so it is only possible to perform partial treatment on a few teeth, and the treatment range is extremely narrow. In addition, since the normal dentition is used as a fixation source for applying orthodontic force, there is a problem in that unnecessary force is applied to the normal dentition.

The second invention is to take an impression of each row of teeth in the lower jaw of a patient with malocclusion, create original upper and lower jaw models made of plaster, and replace the mandibular body of the patient with malocclusion with the maxillary body. The occlusal relationship of the upper and lower teeth is taken using a wax bite while the upper and lower teeth are guided to the normal position. The wax bite is bitten into the original upper and lower jaw model, and the model is used to fabricate dentures. Each tooth showing malposition on the original upper and lower jaw models is divided one by one at a distance of v3AJ from the base, and the divided teeth are artificially attached to the orthodontic treatment. The entire tooth row is rearranged into a normal occlusion by moving the teeth to the normal occlusion position, and the split teeth are fixed with wax on the base of the original supra-mandibular model, and the occlusal relationship of the model with the normal dentition is adjusted. By taking impressions of the dentition of the lower jaw in the soil again from the original lower jaw model, which was taken using a wax bite and the alignment changed, a working upper and lower jaw model made of plaster was created. Attach the wax bite of the tooth row to the working upper and lower jaw models.

In actual use, as shown in Figure 3, depending on the type of malocclusion and the purpose of treatment, the outer paw should be angled upward at 20° (applied to maxillary prognathia) or downward at 20° relative to the occlusal plane.
0° (applicable to mandibular prognathism), and the former involves fixing a locking device 19 to the head, hooking a rubber band 21 to it, and pulling it upward after passing (see Figure 4); the latter. A locking device 19 is fixed to the neck, and a rubber band 21 is hooked onto this to pull it downward after passing (see Figure 5). Depending on the case, it may also be pulled horizontally backwards with respect to the occlusal plane. (See FIG. 6). In this case, the angle adjustment tool 20 attached to the locking tool 19 is connected to the rubber band 21t. The traction force of the rubber 21 is usually 600 to 800 g, but the value is appropriately selected depending on various conditions.

Next, to explain the second aspect of the present invention in order, FIG. 7 is a side view of the upper and lower dentition of a patient with prognathic protrusion (protruding teeth).
This is an example of a malocclusion in which the front teeth of the upper dental arch 6 protrude forward by a distance than the front teeth of the lower dental arch 7. Fig. 8 is intended to normalize the positional relationship between the upper and lower jaw bones. After artificially moving the lower dental arch forward (by intentionally moving the body of the mandible forward) and improving the anteroposterior positional relationship between the upper and lower jawbones, the upper and lower dental arches are cut using the wax bite 8a. It is a side view of the first position of the lower jaw being taken. For the purpose of making models of the upper and lower dentition, individual impressions of the dentition were taken, and original upper and lower jaw models 9.10 of both dentition were made using plaster. The obtained wax bite 8a is then bitten into this model (this original upper and lower jaw model has been restored to the same state as the actual oral cavity).

Take impressions of the upper and lower dentition of the patient with malocclusion, create original plaster models of the upper and lower jaws, and compare the mandibular body of the patient with malocclusion to the normal maxillary body. The occlusal relationship between the upper and lower teeth is taken using a wax bite while guided to the original position, and the original upper and lower jaw models are bitten with the wax bite, and the models are used as an articulator for making dentures. By separating the individual teeth that are attached accurately and showing malposition on the original upper and lower jaw models one by one from the base, and then artificially moving the divided teeth to orthodontically correct positions. The entire dentition is rearranged to normal occlusion, the split teeth are fixed with wax on the base of the original upper and lower jaw models, and the occlusal relationship of the models with normal dentition is recorded using a wax bite. Then, by taking impressions of the upper and lower dentition again from the original upper and lower jaw models after the rearrangement, a working upper and lower jaw model made of plaster was created, and the wax bite of the normal dentition was recorded as above. The upper and lower jaw models for work are engaged, and in this state, the inner bow part of the traction device, which consists of an inner bow and an outer bow made of metal wire, is buried in the wax bite and fixed with wax, and then the work is performed. A mouthpiece mold is formed with paraffin wax around the inner bow between the working upper and lower jaw models, and this mouthpiece mold with a traction device is placed together with the working upper and lower jaw models in plaster in a split mold container. Then, the split container was heated to melt and discharge only the paraffin wax portion out of the container, and the melted and discharged mouthpiece-shaped negative mold was injected or filled with silicone resin, which was then pressure-thermopolymerized. A manufacturing method for an orthodontic treatment device made of silicone resin with a characteristic traction device.
