Abstract

送幅方向の一側と他側に個別に離して並設し、このうち
一側の記録用ギャップ14は磁気ストライプ幅と同幅を
有する幅広の記録用コア16,16間により形成され、
この対向するコア16,16間のギャップ広さは高抗磁
力化された磁気ストライプ面の高密度の磁気記録処理に
適した比較的広いギャップを持たせて形成している。ま
た、他側の再生用ギャップ15は、幅狭の再生用コア1
7,17間により形成され、この対向するコア17,1
7間のギャップ広さは高抗磁力化された磁気ストライプ
面の高密度の磁気再生処理に適した所定のギャップを持
たせて形成している。さらに、磁気ヘッド11は、図3
および図4に示すように、磁気ヘッド移動機構18を介
して磁気カード19の搬送幅方向に水平に移動許容して
設けている。この磁気ヘッド移動機構18は、磁気デー

プ14,15を記録時あるいは再生時に使い分けて対応
させる個応構成をとっている。このため、一つの磁気ヘ
ッド11でありながら、記録用ギャップ14と再生用ギ
ャップ15とのギャップ広さの異なる2つの専用ギャッ
プを独立配設して有効に使用することができる。

送幅方向に並設し、前記磁気データの記録時には記録用
ギャップを磁気媒体の磁性面に対応させ、磁気データの
再生時には再生用ギャップを磁気媒体の磁性面に対応さ
せる磁気ヘッド移動手段を備えたことを特徴とする磁気
記録再生装置。
