Most water leaks in existing tunnels occur from concrete cracks or joints, or from segment joints if segments are used. There are various ways in which water leaks; if it is for a small period of time, it may become clogged naturally, but if it is for a certain amount of time, it will not become clogged, and if it is under pressure, the amount of water leaking will be enormous and at the same time. The force of the water is also intense, and the electricity bill for drainage increases. Also,
Groundwater contains various ions, and when it is discharged onto the ground or into seawater, it may change color due to air oxidation, which requires treatment. In addition, if there is water leakage, the surface of the structure will become extremely contaminated, and in the case of commercial lines, it may cause an overhead line accident.

For this reason, repair methods are currently being used to channel these leaks. The location of the water leak is
Because it is wet with water, it is difficult to caulk or glue, and it is not durable.

Currently, the type of repair method shown in Figure 5 is often used. Figure 5 is a cross-sectional view of the joint, where 1 and 1' are the concrete structure, 2 is the ground,
7 represents a water pipe. All of these methods are referred to as joint water diversion, which simply directs leaking water through the joints, and do not have the effect of reducing the amount of water leakage.

The basic feature of the present invention is that, as shown in FIG. 1, a water-swellable water stop material 3 having a metal core 3a is cast into the joint between concrete structures 1 and 1'. This effectively prevents water from leaking from the ground 2. In other words, such joints are generally very uneven and the width is not constant, but the water-swellable water-stopping material 3 swells when it comes into contact with water and fills gaps where water leaks may occur. It is.

The first method of the present invention is to install a water-swellable water-stopping material having a metal core and a fixing fitting for fixing it in the joint in order to further ensure the prevention of water leakage by the above-mentioned means. It's something you put into it.

FIG. 2 shows the first water-stopping method of the present invention, in which the water-swellable water-stop material 3 inserted into the joint is fixed by a fixing fitting 4, and the water-swellable material 3 is fixed to the front surface of the water-swellable material. The sauce and spillage are reliably prevented.

Furthermore, in order to reliably prevent water leakage from joints over a long period of time, it is necessary to inject a backfilling agent. A water-swellable water-stopping material with a metal core or a water-swellable water-stopping material with a metal core and a fixing fitting for fixing it are driven into the joint,
The method is characterized in that a backing material is then injected deep into the joint.

As a backing material, ordinary air mortar and other mortars do not adhere well to concrete and do not follow the vibrations of the tunnel.
Undesirable. Therefore, it is better to use polymer cement-based mortar, asphalt-based mortar, or urethane-based injection material, which have good adhesion to concrete and steel parts.

FIG. 3 shows the second water-stopping construction method of the present invention, in which a backing material 5 is injected from the end of the water-swellable water-stopping material 3 that has been cast into the joint, and the backing material 5 is injected into the back ground 2. This is to reliably prevent water leakage.

The third water-stopping method of the present invention is to more completely prevent water leakage, and uses a water-swellable water-stopping material with a metal core, or a water-swellable water-stopping material with a metal core. This method is characterized by driving a fixing metal fitting into the joint, then injecting a backing material deep into the joint, and then applying a surface coating material to the joint without removing or removing the fixing metal fitting.
