レールに沿いタイヤの方向を制御する補助輪Cとを備え
たものである。道路とレール両用のこの車両は、鉄道事
故の際緊急に現場へ到達するのに極めて有用であるが、
道路上を走行して踏切に達したとき、車両方向をレール
方向へ切換え、かつ前記枠体装着のため、車両を持上げ
ねばならない。これを可能にする設備がない場合、事故
現場との遠近に係わりなく、まず、起重機と転車台を備
える車両工場を目ざし、そこでレール上へ乗せかえ、再
出発せねばならぬ不便がある。2.
