Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve wiping performance, water absorbency, color forming property and fashionability by using conjugate yarn of textured yarn with a specified single fiber fineness and multifilament yarn with a boiling shrinkage larger by a specified ratio than the textured yarn at least for warp and further imparting a specified average specific capacity to the cloth. CONSTITUTION:Fiber used for the surface of a pile-like woven fabric of wiping cloth must meet the requirement of 0.5 denier or less in the single fiber fineness. When the single fiber fineness exceeds 0.5 denier, the wiping capacity is worsened. Then, the textured yarn with the fine single fiber fineness is conjugated with multifilament yarn having a boiling shrinkage exceeding 10% as compared with the textured yarn. When difference of the boiling shrinkage is below 10%, the development of piles becomes insufficient. The constituent fibers of the conjugate yarn may be the same or different in type. Moreover, the pile-like woven fabric exceeds 5cm<3>/g in average specific capacity. Even with the actual value less than the value, there is no extreme lowering of the wiping capacity of the cloth but the storing capacity of dirt and water/oil absorbing performance becomes worse.

However, when a cotton towel is used, fluff is generated from the surface, so that the fluff remains on the object and is difficult to remove, and the object is limited. is there. Since the texture using the ultrafine fibers is too soft, it is necessary to densify the woven or knitted fabric as described in JP-A-60-39439. However, such a woven or knitted fabric has a poor storage capacity for wiped stains and is not satisfactory as a wiping cloth. An object of the present invention is to provide a wiping cloth which has a high porosity as well as a good water absorbency, a color developability, and a fashionability, as well as a wiping property, and which has a feeling of being held.

The pile woven fabric referred to in the present invention is, for example, 3 /
A pile loop is formed by weaving into a design having a warp floatage number of 3 to 9 such as 1 twill, 3/1 tear italic, and 5 sheet satin, and heat-treating. Also, in order to increase the porosity, it is preferable that the warp and / or the weft have a double structure. The fibers used for the surface of the pile fabric of the present invention are required to have a single yarn fineness of 0.5 denier or less. If the single yarn fineness exceeds 0.5 denier, the wiping force becomes poor and satisfactory performance cannot be obtained, so it is excluded from the scope of the present invention. The smaller the single yarn fineness, the better the wiping force tends to be, but on the contrary, the friction resistance increases,
The cloth comes into close contact with the object and only the hand can slide,
Further, since the color developability is also poor, 0.05 denier or more is preferable. Further, the ultrafine fiber of the present invention is subjected to false twisting,
As a result, the cross-sectional shape becomes irregular, the wiping force is improved, and at the same time the void ratio is increased and the dirt storage force is increased. Next is a method for spinning ultrafine fibers, for example,
Examples of the method include a method in which a polymer is made into an ultrafine state when discharged from a spinneret, and a method in which an ultrafine fiber is obtained from a sea-island type or split fiber type composite fiber.

The fine-twisted false twisted yarn and the multifilament having a hot water shrinkage ratio of 10% or more higher than that of the finished yarn are compounded. When the difference in shrinkage rate of boiling water is 10% or less, the pile is not sufficiently expressed and the object of the present invention is not achieved. In order to obtain a good pile, the difference in boiling water shrinkage ratio is preferably 15% or more, and in order to obtain a pile having a hand-held feeling, it is preferably 20% or more. The composite yarn of the present invention may be fibers of the same kind or different kinds of fibers, and as the polymer, polyester and polyamide are particularly preferable from the viewpoint of durability. In addition, as a method of compounding the composite yarn, mixed fiber,
There are ply twists and alignments, and there is no particular limitation, but alignments or mixed fibers are preferable in terms of cost. The pile fabric obtained by the present invention has an average specific volume of 5 cm 3 / g or more. Even if the average specific volume is 5 cm 3 / g or less, the cloth wiping force is not extremely inferior, but the dirt storage capacity and the water absorption / oil absorption performance are poor, and the cloth is excluded from the scope of the present invention. The average specific volume referred to in the present invention is N = B × 10 4 / A (1) (where N is the average specific volume (cm 3 / g) and A is the basis weight (8
/ M 2 ), and B is the thickness (cm)) In the formula (1), the value of B is the value of TO measured with a KES FB-3 compression tester (load 0.5 g / cm 2

The wiping cloth of the present invention is a pile-like woven fabric and is rich in thickness and bulkiness and has a high porosity, so that it has a high dirt storage capacity and can be cleaned with a small number of washings. In addition, the wiping cloth of the present invention has excellent wiping power due to the fact that it is an ultrafine fiber and has a soft edge due to the irregular cross section of false twist. Furthermore, since it is a cloth using filaments, there is no concern about fluffing, and it is good as an industrial cloth. Examples will be described below in detail, but the present invention is not limited to these examples.

Example 1 As a warp, a mixture of 140d / 432f polyester ultrafine fiber processed yarn (4% boiling water shrinkage) and 37d / 24f polyester multifilament (55% boiling water shrinkage) was used, and 140d / 432f was used as the weft. Using the polyester ultrafine fiber processed yarn of 6/1 warp double satin design, weaving with warp density 156 pieces / inch, weft density 60 pieces / inch,
Dyeing was performed under normal processing conditions. In the dyeing process, coloring and hydrophilic treatment were performed at the same time. The obtained woven fabric was a pile-like woven fabric excellent in color development and fashionability and having a hand-held feeling.

The measuring method of each measured value of the wiping property and the water absorption is as follows. (Wiping property) A glass plate (micro slide glass, 76 x 26 mm thickness 1 mm, white edge polishing No. 1) was used as a sample stand, and standard pollutants (dust dust [red soil stain]) were placed on it.
Or apply hand stains (artificial lipid)). Place a wiping cloth on it and wipe it under a predetermined wiping load (25 g / 3.9 cm 2 for red soil stain, 125 g / 3.9 for artificial lipid).

(Water Absorption) Measured using a Larose method water absorption measuring device TL-01. A sample with a diameter of 6.0 cm is placed on a glass filter, a load of 6 cm in diameter and a weight of 480 g is placed, and the amount of water taken up by the sample through the filter is adjusted to 1 minute, 2 minutes.
Measure after 5 minutes. The water absorption rate is calculated by the following formula. (Data in Table 1 is the value after 5 minutes) Water absorption rate (%) = {Water absorption amount (g) / Sample weight (g)} × 1
