<Prior Art> There are various plastic products such as eyeglass cases and accessory cases in which the surface of plastic is coated with synthetic leather to enhance the feel and texture. Conventionally, when covering the surface of plastic with vinyl chloride synthetic leather, the synthetic leather was adhered to the surface of the plastic with an adhesive after the plastic was molded. This is because vinyl chloride-based synthetic leather has a low heat resistance temperature of 80°C to 120°C, and it was thought that it would be difficult to integrally mold it with plastic.

For urethane-based and nylon-based synthetic leather, a method of integrally molding it with plastic has been considered as described below, but since urethane-based and nylon-based synthetic leather is expensive, the range of use is limited. Therefore, it was not suitable for use in inexpensive items such as eyeglass cases and accessory cases.

<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> By the way, the conventional method of attaching synthetic leather with adhesive after plastic molding has the disadvantage that it is not only laborious to work, but also easily peels off. Furthermore, it is extremely difficult to adhere synthetic leather neatly to a three-dimensional curved surface without sagging. In other words, synthetic leather can be attached to a secondary curved surface (a flat surface simply bent) without sagging after molding, but synthetic leather can be attached to a three-dimensional curved surface (a spherical surface). However, since synthetic leather is originally flat, it has been impossible to attach it to a spherical surface without sagging.

By the way, as an example of synthetic leather that is integrally molded during plastic molding,
There are methods shown in Publications No. 59-142937 and No. 62-162081, but these are aimed at welding synthetic leather and plastic together due to their compatibility, and the synthetic leather may melt slightly. It is assumed that Note that in the case of incompatible materials, an adhesive layer is provided, but this is based on the premise that a material that is compatible with plastic, rather than a mere cloth material, is used. Therefore, the synthetic leather shown in these publications has a heat resistance that at least slightly melts during injection molding, but does not melt to the extent that it becomes deformed. It is a premise.

That is, the temperature during injection molding is generally 150
℃~230℃, so this invention is based on the premise that synthetic leather has a heat resistance temperature close to this. In other words, the invention is applicable to urethane-based and nylon-based synthetic leathers, which have a high heat resistance among synthetic leathers, and the specification of the above-mentioned publication assumes that urethane-based synthetic leather is used. . Therefore, the above invention cannot be applied to vinyl chloride synthetic leather whose heat resistance temperature is as low as 80°C to 120°C.

On the other hand, Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 60-212313 and No. 61-14944
As shown in the above publication, there is a product in which an intermediate material such as cloth is laminated on the outer skin material, and a synthetic resin is integrated on the back side of the cloth by injection molding, but the intermediate material does not have an anchor effect. Therefore, the heat resistance temperature of the skin material is not an issue; the skin material only needs to be one that can be bonded to the intermediate material, and a material with a low heat resistance temperature, such as synthetic leather, should be used. is not assumed. Although there is a description that the presence of an intermediate material blocks heat from the skin material during molding, it is not clear how much heat can be specifically blocked. Further, as a result of not giving much consideration to the heat resistance temperature of the skin material, there is no description that the mold on the side that the skin material contacts should be cooled in order to prevent the skin material from overheating.

Therefore, as a result of various research, the present inventor found that vinyl chloride-based synthetic leather, which has a heat resistance temperature of 80℃ to 120℃, which was conventionally thought to melt due to the heat during molding, can be replaced with synthetic leather lined with cloth material. In this case, even if it is integrally molded with plastic, the synthetic leather is placed on the side that contacts the mold, and the mold cools the synthetic leather, and the heat of the synthetic resin material is not transferred to the synthetic leather through the fabric material. It was discovered that vinyl chloride synthetic leather does not melt if

In other words, when polyvinyl chloride-based synthetic leather, which has low heat resistance, is integrally molded with plastic, it is lined with cloth to increase the heat resistance temperature on the side where the synthetic resin material is injected, and the side in contact with the mold is cooled. Therefore, it is sufficient to prevent the synthetic leather from being heated above its heat-resistant temperature.

<Means for Solving the Problems> Therefore, the method for manufacturing a plastic product integrally molded with synthetic leather according to the present invention requires a heat-resistant temperature of 80°C to 80°C when injection molding the plastic product.
A synthetic leather made of vinyl chloride synthetic leather lined with a cloth material at 120°C is placed on the mold opposite to the mold into which the synthetic resin material will be injected, and the cloth material is placed facing the side of the mold into which the synthetic resin material is injected. After that, the synthetic resin material is injected and molded while cooling the mold on the side on which the synthetic leather is placed, and the synthetic leather is brought into contact with the synthetic resin material through the cloth material during molding. During molding, the temperature of the synthetic leather itself is raised only to a level that does not melt, allowing the cloth material and synthetic resin material to adhere, allowing the vinyl chloride synthetic leather and plastic to be integrally molded. be.

<Example> Next, an example of a method for manufacturing a plastic product integrally molded with synthetic leather according to the present invention will be described using the manufacture of an eyeglass case as an example. Reference numerals 1 and 2 designate a pair of molding molds; 1 is a female mold located on the lower side and serves as a fixed mold; 2 is a male mold corresponding to the female mold 1; In addition, the male mold 2 has an injection pipe 3.
are connected to each other, and a synthetic resin material is injected therein. 4 is vinyl chloride synthetic leather 5
During molding, the vinyl chloride synthetic leather 5 lined with the above 4 is placed on the female mold 1, with the fabric material 4 on the male mold 2 side and the vinyl chloride synthetic leather 5 on the female mold side. Place it so that it is in contact with 1. Then, injection molding is performed by a usual method while cooling the female mold 1. When the female mold 1 and the male mold 2 are combined, the vinyl chloride synthetic leather 5 is formed by combining both molds 1 and 2.
When the synthetic resin material is injected from the male mold 2 side, the vinyl chloride synthetic leather 5 deforms along the shape of the female mold 1 due to this pressure. Then, the synthetic resin material and the cloth material 4 are bonded together, and the plastic 6 and the vinyl chloride synthetic leather 5 are bonded together.
will be integrally molded. When both molds 1 and 2 are combined and synthetic resin material is injected, the vinyl chloride synthetic leather 5 is deformed by heat and pressure to follow the shape of the female mold 1, so it can be applied to complex three-dimensional curved surfaces. It is also possible to perform integral molding. Further, in the case of a deeper shape, by performing vacuum molding, it is possible to integrally mold any shape.

When in direct contact with the injected synthetic resin material,
The vinyl chloride synthetic leather 5 will melt. However, in the present invention, a vinyl chloride synthetic leather 5 is used which is lined with a cloth material 4, and the cloth material 4 is in contact with the injected synthetic resin material, and the vinyl chloride synthetic leather 5 is in direct contact with the synthetic resin material. Since the female mold 1 is cooled, the vinyl chloride synthetic leather 5 is not melted, but rather is heated to a temperature that just provides flexibility, and is heated along the female mold 1. It will transform easily and effortlessly. Afterwards,
Even curved parts can be formed neatly and easily.
