2. Description of the Related Art The longline fishing method is one of the fishing methods for catching migratory fish such as tuna and silver cod. The longline fishing method is a type of gimmick fishing, and the longline used consists of a trunk line, a large number of branch lines, floats, etc.The branch line has a hook attached to the tip and a snap attached to the base end. It is formed so that it can be attached to and removed from the trunk rope. This longline has dozens of trunks
It is very long, from km to over a dozen kilometers, and the branch rope is about 40 to 50 meters long, and since the fishing hook is attached to the tip of it, it is extremely entangled with trunk ropes and other equipment. Therefore, on the ship, the branch line is removed from the main line, both are stored separately, and when the line is thrown, the bait is attached to the fishing line of each branch line near the berth, and this is further snapped to the main line. [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In the conventional lanyard method,
Since the branch line tied to the trunk line is in a state of being stretched, if the line is cast near the bow or from the side of the ship, the branch line often becomes entangled with the trunk line when it reaches the sea surface. Therefore, long lines have been traditionally cast from the stern. However, there is a propeller wake on the surface of the sea near the stern, and a swirl is generated, which makes it easier for the branch line to get entangled with the trunk line, so when setting the line, place the branch line away from the trunk line. It is necessary to ensure that this does not get entangled in the trunk by the propeller wake. Therefore, when throwing a line, in addition to the work of attaching bait to the fishing hook (feeding) and the work of connecting this branch line to the trunk line (snap), the work of throwing the branch line in the lateral direction ( It is necessary to throw a bran). The work of throwing this bran is dangerous because the worker must lean out his / her half from the stern, and the stern is open to perform this work, so workers who feed or snap can also work. I was hit by the waves and sometimes even accidentally defeated by the waves. In addition, since work is performed in such a state, it is difficult to mechanize the work, and it is necessary to rely on all manual work. Therefore, there is a problem that work efficiency is low and labor saving is hindered. It was INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention prevents the branch rope from being entangled with the trunk rope due to the wake of the propeller and eliminates the work of throwing a blanc. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for eliminating the problem and also for automating the feeding work.

The method of laying a long rope according to the present invention is to assemble branch ropes in an appropriate size and tie them together with a string or tape to form a block shape. It is a thing to feed, attach it to the trunk line, and throw it, especially,
Strings, tapes, etc. are formed using a water-soluble material that dissolves after a few minutes to several tens of minutes when immersed in seawater, and where the branch line is separated to a position where it is not affected by the wake of the propeller. The goal is achieved by unraveling and hanging from the main rope. In the case of a small longline fishing boat, the branch rope should be fed, collected together with the branch rope, and placed in a net bag made of a water-soluble material into blocks. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The method for laying a longline according to the present invention will be described below in detail with reference to the illustrated embodiments. FIG. 1 schematically shows a state in which a longline is being laid. In the figure, reference numeral 1 is a fishing boat, 2 is a trunk rope, 3 is a branch rope, and 4 is a float. These are almost no different from the usual ones of this kind. That is, although not shown, the stern of the fishing boat 1 is equipped with a slow conveyor and other lanyard devices, a tying machine, etc., and is further provided with a trunk storage box, with a length of more than ten kilometers to several tens of kilometers.
A trunk line 2 made from km of sturdy rope is stored in it. A fishhook 31 is attached to the tip of the branch line 3, and a snap 32 is attached to the base end of the branch line 3, and the branch line 3 is connected to the trunk line 2 with an interval of several tens of meters. The floats 4 are attached to the trunk rope 2 at appropriate intervals, and when the long rope is set, support the trunk rope 2 at a certain depth below the sea surface and maintain the food 5 at a predetermined depth in the sea. It is supposed to do. Therefore, it is not necessary to attach it when catching bottom fish such as silver cod. In order to cast a rope, first of all, the middle portion of the branch rope 3 excluding both ends is wound into a loop shape and has an appropriate size, for example, a diameter of 40 cm.
Put together in a ring shape and tie it with a string or tape 6 formed using a water-soluble material that dissolves after a few minutes to several tens of minutes when immersed in seawater such as polyvinyl alcohol,
The block 7 is bundled by putting it in a mesh bag formed by using this material. There is no particular limitation on the method in which the gathered branch ropes 3 are made into blocks 7. In short, when laying a line, the branch line 3 is entangled with a liner or a binding machine on the ship,
In order to prevent the trunk ropes 2 from being entangled with each other in the sea, for example, as shown in FIG. 2, there is also a method in which a branch rope 3 is wound in a loop to form a ring-like shape. Then, as shown in FIG. 3, there is also a method in which a ring-shaped member is pressed from both sides to form a rod shape and the upper and lower two portions are tied with the tape 6. Also, put something like this in a net bag,
There is also a way to close the mouth. Then, while feeding the trunk line 2 to the sea by a line throwing device, the fishing hook 31 of the branch line 3 is fed, and further, the branch line 3 is snapped and connected to the trunk line 2 at an appropriate interval. Of. In addition, gathered branch rope 3
The method of putting into a block 7 into a net bag is suitable for a small long line such as a long line of a river pig. In this case, the branch line 3 is first fed and then the branch line is cut. Three
Is preferably placed in a net bag with food. Here, since the branch line 3 is bundled with a water-soluble string 6 etc. to form a block, it does not get entangled with the trunk line 2 and other devices on board, and when the line is thrown, the propeller wake P Therefore, it is not entangled in the trunk line 2.

As described above in detail, in the method for laying a long rope according to the present invention, the intermediate portion excluding both ends of the branch rope is gathered in an appropriate size and the water-soluble cord or tape is used. By wrapping it in a block and then feeding it and snapping it on the trunk rope, the branch rope is entangled with the trunk due to the propeller wake. As a result, it becomes possible to set a line by setting a line setting device at an appropriate position on the berth, and since it is not necessary to throw a blanc, there is an advantage that work safety and labor saving are secured. or,
By making the branch line into a block shape, there is no fear of the branch line being entangled with the trunk line or other equipment on the ship, so that there is an advantage that the work of feeding and snapping is significantly facilitated. Moreover, by making the branch rope block-shaped, it has become possible to develop an automatic feeding device, so it is expected that the efficiency of the work and the labor saving will be further improved by equipping the fishing boat with these devices. It was.
