Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize modification of external shape of circuit board and addition of circuit boards and mount a plurality standing circuit boards in different height on a main circuit board by means of only one kind of circuit board mounting apparatus by providing an engaging part which ensures engagement of several stages and a movable type circuit board mounting part, and then enabling mounting of the circuit board without any relation to a size of circuit board. CONSTITUTION:A standing circuit board 3 is mounted on a main circuit board 4 through connection of connectors 5. Thereafter, a piece holding pawl 1a of a holding piece 1 is engaged with a piece guide hole 2a of a piece guide 2 for the mounting, in accordance with a size of the standing circuit board 3. Simultaneously, a piece holding rib 1b is fixed at the end face of the piece 1. After mounting the circuit board holding piece 1 to the holding piece guide 2, a guide mounting part 2b is inserted into a holding piece mounting hole 4a of the main circuit board 4. Thereby, using this circuit board mounting apparatus, if an external size of the standing circuit board 3 is change, the same circuit board mounting apparatus can be used only by changing the mounting position of the piece guide hole 2a.
