BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a fine bulky spun yarn which is suitable for car seats and the like because it has a small hollow section deformation, is bulky, and is lightweight.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventional bulky spun yarns are roughly classified into two types. The first type utilizes the heat shrinkage characteristics of raw staples, and has a high shrinkage rate of raw cotton and a low shrinkage rate. It is made by blending raw cotton and spinning, and then heat-treating to express bulkiness. The second type is made of hollow synthetic fiber staples as a raw material, and gives a bulky feeling due to a decrease in apparent specific gravity due to the hollow effect of the staples, and examples thereof include woolen yarns for carpets and semi-worsted yarns.

The bulky spun yarn of the first type is usually made into a cloth and then heat-treated to make it bulky. Therefore, it is difficult to become bulky due to the constraint of the structure, and Since it uses solid synthetic fiber staples, there is a problem in terms of weight. Further, in the case of heat-treating before making it into a cloth, there is a problem in terms of weavability since it is made into bulky yarn and then woven.

The second type of bulky spun yarn has the drawback that the hollow part of the hollow synthetic fiber staple is deformed and ruptured by the roller pressure during the spinning process. For that purpose, a spinning method of a short spinning process or a spinning method of semi-worsted type is used, and in order to prevent deformation and rupture of the hollow portion, a hollow denier hollow synthetic fiber staple, for example, 5 to 20 denier hollow synthetic fiber staple is used. Has been. Due to the limitation of the spinning method and the raw materials used, the bulky spun yarn of the second type is a thick yarn having a metric count of 10 or less (corresponding to 6'S / 1 in English cotton count). It had the drawback of being limited.

The present invention will be described in detail below. In the present invention, the hollow synthetic fiber staple should have a fineness of 1 to 4 denier. If less than 1 denier,
The bulkiness becomes poor, and there is a problem in terms of operability in manufacturing. On the other hand, if it exceeds 4 denier, there is a problem in weight reduction. The thickness is preferably 2-3 denier. Further, the hollow ratio of the hollow synthetic fiber staple is 10 to 40%.
It should preferably be between 15 and 30% by weight. Hollowness is necessary to make the material bulky and lightweight, but if it is less than 10%, the weight becomes poor, while 40%.
If it exceeds, the hollow portion is likely to be deformed and burst, which is not preferable. The hollowness is measured by the following method. That is, the diameter is measured with an optical microscope (with a digital micrometer), and the ratio of the inner area / the outer area (average value of n = 5) is expressed in percentage, which is represented by the hollow ratio N.

The bulky spun yarn of the present invention comprises such hollow synthetic fiber staples and solid synthetic fiber staples. Here, the diameter of the solid synthetic fiber staples is the same as that of the hollow synthetic fiber staples. It is important that the diameter is not less than the apparent diameter. This is because the mixture of the two is subjected to many roller pressing actions in the spinning process,
This is to prevent deformation and rupture of the hollow synthetic fiber staple with the solid synthetic fiber staple. The measurement of the apparent diameter is as follows. That is, the thickness (A denier) and the apparent diameter N% of the hollow synthetic fiber staple correspond to A × [1 / (1-N / 100)] denier.

Therefore, the hollow synthetic fiber staple should be contained in an amount of 50 to 80% by weight, preferably 60 to 80% by weight. If it is less than 50% by weight, the bulkiness becomes poor, and if it exceeds 80% by weight, the hollow portion is deformed,
It is not preferable because it easily bursts. The fiber to be mixed-spun is solid synthetic fiber staple, 50 to 20% by weight.
Must be included. This is the deformation of the hollow part,
This is to prevent a burst. The cross-sectional shape of the solid synthetic fiber staple is preferably a circular cross-section, but may be another triangular, pentagonal, trilobal, or other modified cross-section. The thickness of the solid synthetic fiber staple is preferably 1.5 to 5 denier, and more preferably 2 to 4 denier. The length of the hollow synthetic fiber staple and the solid synthetic fiber staple is preferably 35 to 76 mm, more preferably 38 to 51 mm. Of course, it may be equal length or unequal length.

The thickness of the bulky spun yarn obtained in this way depends on the thickness of the constituent fibers, but preferably 20's / 1 to 60's / 1 in English cotton count,
More preferably, it is 20's / 1 to 40's / 1.

Example 1 A hollow synthetic fiber staple (round cross section, 51 mm) and a solid synthetic fiber staple (round cross section, 51 mm) were combined to produce spun yarn with various fineness, hollow ratio, and mixing ratio, and a double Russell machine was used. A polyester multifilament yarn (100d / 30f) was used as the base yarn, and a knitted fabric was knitted using various bulky spun yarns with a finishing pile density of 490 g / m 2 as the pile yarn, and the results are shown in Table 1 below. In Table 1, the feeling of fabric density was based on a sensory test by visual inspection and handling. ⊚ means very much, ◯ means yes, Δ means a little, × means a little, xx means nothing at all. Pile hair fallability is caused by the weight of the fabric (4
0 .phi., 1000 g) and a load of 79.6 g / cm @ 2 in an atmosphere of 80.degree. The 5th grade has no hair falling state, the 4th to 5th grades have no hair falling state, the 3rd to 4th grades have a hair falling state, the 2nd grade has a hair falling state, and the 1st grade shows a hair falling state. The deformed and ruptured state of the hollow portion of the spun yarn is checked by a magnified photograph of the transverse cross section of the spun yarn at 350 times.

From the results shown in Table 1, the bulky spun yarn of the present invention (No. 1)
In Nos. 6 to 6, there was almost no deformation and rupture of the hollow portion, and the fabric obtained by using this yarn had a high sense of density and no pile hair collapse. Contrary to this, since the conventional example is composed only of polyester fibers having a solid round cross section, it has a slight sense of density, but it is not preferable because the pile yarn collapses. In Comparative Example 1, since the hollow fibers are thin and the proportion of the solid fibers is large, the feeling of fabric density, the pile yarn fallability, and the hollow portion deformation and rupture state are poor, and the Comparative Example 2 is solid. There was a slight sense of fabric density because there were too many fibers, and the pile yarn collapsed was noticeable. In Comparative Example 3, the hollow portion was deformed and ruptured due to the small amount of solid fibers, and in Comparative Example 4, the hollow ratio was large, and Comparative Example 5
Since the hollow fiber had a thick denier, there was no feeling of fabric density.
