(Prior Art) A headrest insert includes a core body that is buried inside a headrest body that is in contact with the passenger's head and reinforces the body, and a core body that connects with the core body to attach the headrest body to the upper part of the seat backrest. It consists of a stay.

By the way, in the conventional insert, a core body and a stay are fixed together, and the stay is attached to the upper part of the backrest so that it can move up and down.

However, the vertical movement of the headrest using this insert is performed by lifting or pushing down the headrest body by hand, so when lifting, the headrest body and the metal stay must be lifted at the same time, making it very heavy and difficult to operate. It was not easy.

Furthermore, since the locking device that fixes the vertical position of the stay is buried within the backrest, if the locking device breaks down, the entire backrest may have to be replaced, making it difficult to repair.

Furthermore, in order to prevent separation of the core and the stay, it is preferable to securely fix the stay to the core using a fixing part such as a pin, and in this case, the fixing part protrudes outside the core and covers the core. There was also the risk of damaging the cushion's body.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, this invention slidably attaches the stay to the stay attachment tube of the core body, and attaches the locking tool provided on the attachment tube to the side of the stay. In the headrest insert that can be engaged with and separated from the provided notch, there is a clip insertion hole in the lower part of the mounting cylinder that is perpendicular to the stay insertion hole from the side surface and communicates with the stay insertion hole, and inside the clip insertion hole is abbreviated as the clip insertion hole. It has parallel ribs, and one side of the middle of the clip insertion hole has an outwardly curved part along approximately half the circumference of the stay insertion hole. Insert a substantially U-shaped clip bent outward, engage the bent part of the leg with the curved part of the clip insertion hole, and clamp the leg on the bent side between the inner surface of the clip insertion hole and the rib. The stay is attached so that one side of the stay is held at the bent portion of the leg, and the other leg elastically engages and separates from a notch provided in the stay.

(Function) When the clip is inserted into the clip insertion hole of the stay mounting tube, the bent part of the leg engages with the curved part of the clip insertion hole, and the bent part of the leg holds one side of the stay. It does not easily come off from the stay mounting tube and stay.

In addition, since the bent leg of the clip is held between the inner surface of the clip insertion hole and the rib inside the clip insertion hole and fixed to the stay mounting tube, the elasticity of the other leg of the clip is strengthened. When the headrest main body moves up and down, the legs are surely engaged with the notches of the stay, and the headrest main body is reliably fixed in a predetermined position.

has. Then, the clip 13 is attached to the stay 12.
The clip is inserted and stored in the clip insertion hole 17 at the bottom of the mounting tube 14 so as to clip the clip. The clip 13 attached to the clip insertion hole 17 has ribs 17a and 17b.
is positioned by the clip, and the curved portion 17c of the clip insertion hole 17 and the bent portion 13a of the clip engage,
In addition, the leg of the clip on the side of the bent portion 13a is fixed in the clip insertion hole 17 by being clamped by the inner surface of the clip insertion hole 17 and the ribs 17a, 17a, and the other leg 13b and the notch 12 of the stay 12 are fixed.

The insert 10 having such a configuration can be attached to a backrest as a headrest by covering the core body 11 with a cushion material and a skin material to form a headrest body, and fixing the lower part of the stay 12 to the upper part of the seat backrest. Ru. Then, by pulling the core body 11 (head rest) upward or pushing downward, the legs 13b of the clip 13, which can be opened while being elastically deformed only outward, are almost restricted from vertical movement by the holes 17. As shown in FIGS. 5A to 5C, the notch surface of the notch 12a is a slope, so the slope opens under outward pressure, and the engagement of the stay with the notch 12a is released. The core body 11 (headrest body) is moved up and down. The elastic deformation of the legs 13b of the clip 13 is
This is not done by pressure due to the weight of the headrest of the present invention, in which the core and stay are not fixed together, but is done only when an external force is applied in the vertical direction.

(Effects) The headrest insert of this invention has the above-mentioned configuration, so although it is simple and consists of few parts, the notch of the stay and the legs of the clip reliably engage to hold the headrest in the specified position. It can be reliably fixed at the same height, and there is no need to worry about operating the operating section at this time. Once the clip is inserted into the clip insertion hole of the stay mounting tube, it will not come off easily.
It is extremely safe. Furthermore, the headrest insert of this invention has the effect that when the headrest is raised, only the weight of the headrest body is applied as a load, and the headrest can be moved up and down lightly and easily. In addition, since the clip that fixes the vertical position of the core is located on the core side, even if the clip is damaged and the vertical position of the headrest cannot be adjusted, the headrest can be replaced even in the worst case scenario. It is economical because there is no need to replace the expensive seat backrest, and the replacement work is also easy. Furthermore, the clip is stored in the clip insertion hole provided in the clip mounting tube of the core and does not protrude to the outside, so it does not damage the cushion body that covers the core. Since the deformation is limited to the space within the clip insertion hole, the clip will not be deformed beyond its elastic limit.
