(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, when the neutralizing agent used in the neutralizing device is used for a long period of time, its neutralizing ability decreases. Therefore, it becomes necessary to replace it as appropriate, and there are inconveniences such as the replacement being troublesome. Therefore, a method has been proposed in which the drain is diluted by mixing it with water supply (Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 44246/1983).

However, this system only communicates the water supply pipe with the passage that discharges the condensate to the outside via a bypass device. A part of the water supply is always drained through the passage, but also
When the water pressure inside the water supply pipe drops, there is a risk that the drain may flow back into the water supply pipe.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a first stop water heater equipped with a gas burner as a heat source and a water heat exchanger heated by the gas burner. A passage with a water receiving tank is provided to discharge the condensate generated in the water heat exchanger to the outside, and the water receiving tank is made to face the water inlet of the water supply channel branching from the water supply pipe, and the water supply channel is heated. An on-off valve is interposed that opens when water is passed through the exchanger.

(Function) In this case, since the water supply pipe has an on-off valve that opens when water is flowing to the heat exchanger, water is supplied to the water tank only when water is flowing to the water heat exchanger, and the water supply Since the pipe and the passage for discharging the drain to the outside are separated by the water receiving tank, the drain flowing through the passage does not flow backward.

In the drawing, reference numeral 1 denotes a gas burner 2 as a heat source, a water heat exchanger 3 heated by the gas burner 2, and a saucer 4a for receiving drain generated by the water heat exchanger 3.
This figure shows a water heater main body of a first stop type, which is equipped with a drain passage 4 consisting of a drain pipe 4b for discharging water to the outside, and a hot water outlet pipe 5 connected to the water heat exchanger 3 having a plurality of hot water outlet branch pipes 5a. Be prepared. In the drawing, 6 is the outlet at the tip of each branch pipe 5a, and 7 is each branch pipe 5a.

In the present invention, the passage 4 is provided with a water receiving tank 12, and the water supply water pipe 10 is branched from the water supply pipe 9 to the water heat exchanger 3, and the water supply pipe 9 is connected to the water receiving tank 12. The water supply port of the branched water supply channel 10 was faced, and an on-off valve 11 that opened when water was flowing to the heat exchanger was interposed in the water supply channel 10. By providing the water receiving tank 12 above the discharge pipe 4b and supplying water to it from the water supply port of the water supply channel 10, even if the water supply pressure on the water supply pipe 9 side decreases for some reason, It is possible to eliminate the problem that the drain flowing into the passage 4 flows into the water supply pipe 9 side.

When any of the hot water taps 7 is opened, water is supplied to the water heat exchanger 3 via the water supply pipe 9, and in conjunction with the water flow operation, gas is supplied to the gas burner 2 to start combustion, and the water heat exchanger 3 heat up. Therefore, hot water is obtained at the tap 6.

However, this drain is always discharged via the water supply channel 10 when the water heater is in operation.
It is diluted by the water supply flowing inside and sent out. Therefore, inconveniences such as corrosion of the passage 4 and other parts due to highly acidic drain can be eliminated.

Note that the hot water outlet 6 at the tip of the hot water pipe 5 is connected to the main body 1 of the water heater.
If the drain is nearby, the drain can be diluted by discharging it into a water pipe or the like connected to a water tank (not shown) that drains the hot water from the hot water outlet 6, but this type of treatment is not possible. For example, if the hot water outlet 6 is located far from the water heater main body 1, or if the hot water outlet 6 is provided with a plurality of hot water branch pipes 5a as shown in FIGS. This is particularly advantageous when applied to a case where the drain is to be disposed of outside, ie, where the drain is not flushed with the hot water from the spout 6.

(Effects of the invention) As described above, according to the invention, a passage for discharging condensate to the outside is provided with a passage having a water receiving tank for discharging the condensate generated in the water heat exchanger to the outside,
The water receiving tank faces the water supply port of the water supply channel that branches from the water supply pipe, and the water supply channel is equipped with an on-off valve that opens when water is flowing to the heat exchanger, so that only when water is being supplied to the water heat exchanger. In other words, when the water heater is in use, a portion of the supplied water can be supplied to the water receiving tank, eliminating wasteful discharge of water, and the water receiving tank separates the water supply pipe from the passage for discharging the drain to the outside. As a result, there is no problem with condensate flowing back into the water supply pipe, and in a stop-start water heater, the condensate can be reliably diluted with water and discharged to the outside. effective.
