い、余剰分として回収された現像剤をトナーと混
合させる方向へ回転してトナーと混合させる。

の混合及び攪拌を良好に行なつた後に現像ロール
側へ供給することができるようにして安定したコ
ピー濃度を得ることができるようにした電子写真
複写機の現像装置を提供しようとするものであ
り、その構成は、トナーとキヤリアからなる二成
分現像剤を用い、現像ロールによる磁気ブラシ現
像法にて感光体上の潜像を現像する電子写真複写
機の現像装置において、現像ロールの後側の攪拌
室に、現像ロールよりの余剰現像剤を受ける余剰
現像剤受け板にて仕切られた余剰現像剤受け室
と、現像ロール1に対向する現像室と、トナー室
に連通したトナー供給室3cとを設けると共に、
これらの室の一側端部に連通する合流室を設け、
上記余剰現像剤受け室に合流室側を搬送方向上流
側とする搬送オーガを、また現像室に合流室側を
搬送方向下流側とする搬送オーガを、さらにトナ
ー供給室に合流室側を搬送方向下流側とする搬送
オーガをそれぞれ設け、上記トナー供給室の搬送
オーガによる搬送方向上流側でトナー室に連通
し、また余剰現像剤受け室の搬送オーガによる搬
送方向下流側を現像室及びトナー供給室のそれぞ
れの搬送オーガによる搬送方向の上流側に連通
し、さらに上記余剰現像剤受け板に現像ロール1
よりトリマーされた余剰現像剤を受けるシユート
を設けた構成となつており、現像ロールからの余
剰現像剤は余剰現像剤受け板のシユートで受けら
れて余剰現像剤受け室内にためられて、ここに設
けた搬送オーガにて、合流室内からの現像剤と共
に送られて、これらの搬送方向下流側により現像
室とトナー供給室の各搬送オーガの搬送方向上流
側へ送られる。トナー供給室ではこれらの搬送オ
ーガによる搬送方向上流側に、上記余剰現像剤受
け室からの現像剤と共に、トナー室から新たなト
ナーが供給され、これが搬送オーガにより攪拌さ
れながら合流室へ搬送される。また現像室では上
記余剰現像剤受け室より供給された現像剤が搬送
オーガにて合流室側へ搬送される間に現像ロール
に接触して現像が行なわれる。

上流側に連通したことにより、現像室3bを搬送
されてその間にトナーが消費されて濃度が低くな
つた現像剤は、その下流端部である合流室3dに
てトナー供給室3cから搬送されてきた高濃度の
現像剤と混合されてから余剰現像剤受け室3aの
搬送オーガ8にて余剰現像剤と共に攪拌されなが
ら搬送されて再び現像室3bの搬送オーガ9によ
る搬送方向上流側へ供給することができ、これに
より、現像室3b内の現像剤は常に一定の濃度状
態を維持することができて常時安定したコピー濃
度を得ることができる。
