Rainwater falling on a roof canvas (not shown) covering the roof part 104 is prevented from dripping onto the driver's seat side from the periphery of the roof part 104. Furthermore, the water received by the rain gutter 106 is discharged downward through a drainage hole 107 provided at a corner 105 of the roof 104, along the support 103. (Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, in the case of such a conventional example, for example, when a large amount of rain falls, the amount of water that flows through the rain gutter 106 and collects in the drain hole 107 increases, and the drain hole 107
There was a problem with water overflowing from the corners without being completely drained. Therefore, it is conceivable to increase the drainage capacity by increasing the opening area of the drainage hole 107, but if the opening area is increased, the thickness of the momentum support must be increased, leading to an increase in weight and cost.

(Means for solving the problem) In order to achieve the above purpose, in the present invention,
In an overhead guard for an industrial vehicle, in which a rain gutter is provided on the periphery of a roof connected to a column erected on the vehicle body, a corner of the periphery of the roof communicates with the rain gutter and is wider than the width of the rain gutter. A water retarding portion of a width is provided, the pillar is joined to the water retarding portion, and a drainage hole is provided for draining the water stored in the water retarding portion, so that the water drained from the drainage hole is discharged through the inside of the pillar. It's getting old.

(Function) With this invention, even if the amount of water flowing from the rain gutter to the drain hole side increases due to heavy rain and overflows from the drain hole, the overflow water is temporarily stored in the water retarding section and installed on the roof. Rainwater will not spill from the corners.

Furthermore, since the water retarding section is formed to be wider than the width of the rain gutter, the water level in the retarding section becomes low when the industrial vehicle is stationary or moving at a constant speed, and the water level between the upper end of the support and each corner of the roof is lower. The abutment area can be increased.

A rain gutter 5 is provided around the periphery of the roof portion 3 to catch water that falls on a roof canvas or the like covering the roof portion 3 during rainy weather. The rain gutter 5 includes front and rear rain gutters 51, 52 arranged along the front and rear edges of the roof 3, and side rain gutters 53, 53 arranged along the side edges of the roof 3. , a central rain gutter 56 that crosses between the rain gutters 53 on both sides, 53;
Both ends of each rain gutter 51, 52, . . . are connected at the four corners 4 of the roof portion 3 to form a ring-shaped waterway. Between the front rain gutter 51 and the central rain gutter 56, girder members 54, ... are installed in parallel with the side rain gutter 53, 53, and behind the girder members 54 there is a ceiling covering the rear half of the roof part 3. A plate 55 is fixed. The rear rain gutter 52 and the central rain gutter 56 are integrally formed with this top plate 55. A space is formed in the front half of the roof part 3 so that the upper part can be visually recognized from the driver's seat 102.

On the other hand, drainage holes 6, . . . are bored in the corners 4, . A guide tube 57 is fixedly installed and communicates with the hollow portions of the columns 2, . Water from the rain gutters 5, . . . flows through the drainage holes 6, . . . through the hollow interiors of the pillars 2, . Further, the corner portions 4, . . . of the roof portion 3 are provided with water retarding portions 7, . The water retarding portion 7 is constructed by expanding the width of the rain gutter 53 by expanding the inner walls of the front and rear end portions of the side rain gutters 53 inward in the width direction of the vehicle body.

For the overhead guard with the above configuration,
During rainy weather, for example, a roof canvas or the like is placed over the girder 54 of the roof section 3 to prevent rain from falling onto the driver's seat. Each installed rain gutter 5
1, . . . , the water collects at each of the four corners 4 of the roof portion 3, and is drained from the drainage holes 6, . . . to the support columns 2, . Furthermore, if a large amount of rain falls and the amount of water that collects at the corner 4 increases and the rainwater overflows from the drainage hole 6, it will be temporarily stored in the water retarding section 7 formed around the periphery of the drainage hole 6, preventing the rainwater from spilling. Moreover, as mentioned above, since the water retarding parts 7, which are wider than the widths of the rain gutters 53, are provided at each of the four corners 4 of the roof part 3, the upper ends of the pillars 2,... and each corner of the roof part 3 The abutting area with part 4 can be increased,
The support strength of the roof part 3 to the pillars 2,... increases,
The strength of the overhead guard 1 can be increased.

(Effects of the device) The device has the above-mentioned configuration and action, and provides a water retention area at the corners of the roof portion where the drain holes are provided. Therefore, when there is heavy rainfall or when the amount of water flowing through the gutter increases during car washing and overflows from the drain holes, the rainwater overflowing from the drain holes is temporarily stored in the water retention area and does not spill over from the roof portion. Furthermore, since the water retention area is formed wider than the width of the gutter, the water level in the water retention area is low when the industrial vehicle is stationary or moving at a constant speed, and when the industrial vehicle accelerates, water concentrates in the water retention area, but since the water retention area is formed wider than the width of the gutter, the concentrated water spreads over the entire area of the water retention area, lowering the water level and making it less likely to overflow, and since the water retention area is formed wider than the width of the gutter, the contact area between the upper end of the support pillar and each corner of the roof portion can be increased, thereby increasing the supporting strength of the roof portion against the support pillar and improving the strength of the overhead guard.

また、排水孔から排出された水は支柱の内部を

Further, since the water discharged from the drainage hole is discharged through the interior of the support column, an effect such as eliminating the need to splash water onto the occupant can be obtained.
