Means for Solving the Problems The dust removal device for water intake equipment of this invention includes an intake channel and a dust drainage channel, and the intake channel drains the intake water.
The water is supplied from the bottom to the top of a screen installed almost horizontally in the intake channel from the water intake, and then flows into a water conduit different from the above-mentioned dust drainage channel, and by an overflow part formed at the end of the screen on the water conduit side. The above-mentioned water taken in is maintained at a predetermined water level on the screen, and the above-mentioned dust drainage channel is connected to the lower part of the screen, and the downstream part thereof is connected to the above-mentioned overflow part by a dust discharge gate. , is normally closed, but when a predetermined amount of dust adheres to the screen, the dust removal gate is opened and the intake water, which is maintained at a predetermined water level on the screen, flows backwards from the top of the screen to the bottom to remove dust. It is characterized by being excluded from waterways.

Embodiment Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described based on the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a dust removal device, and the dust removal device consists of an intake channel 1 and a dust drainage channel 2. The intake channel 1 is a part where water taken in from the water intake flows from the lower surface to the upper surface of the horizontally installed screen 3, overflows the overflow part 4 at the rear end of the screen, and sends water to the headrace channel 5. . When the water passes through the screen 3, the dust 7 mixed with the water is made to adhere to the lower surface of the screen to prevent the dust 7 from entering the water conduit 5. Dust drainage channel 2
is a part where a dust exhaust gate 6 higher than the overflow part 4 is installed on the downstream side. Figure 4 shows a state in which water is being taken into the normal water conduit 5. Since the dust discharge gate 6 is upright, the dust discharge canal is dammed, and the inflow water is directed to the bottom surface of the screen of the intake conduit 1. The water emerges from the upper surface, overflows the overflow part 4, and flows into the water conduit 5. The dust 7 adheres to the lower surface of the screen 3. Figure 5 shows the dust 7 attached to the bottom of the screen.
When the dust 7 is deposited on the bottom surface of the screen and the dust removal gate 6 is lowered, the water level in the dust drainage channel 2 will drop rapidly and the water level will drop to the top of the screen 3. The water flows down from the upper surface of the screen to the lower surface in the opposite direction to that when water is taken into the water conduit 5, while removing the dust 7 on the lower surface of the screen through the dust drainage channel 2. After removing the dust 7 sufficiently, open the dust removal gate 6 in Fig. 4.
is raised to return to the state where water is being supplied to the water conduit 5.

Effects of the invention: By operating the dust discharge gate in the waste waterway, the work of removing and transporting dust from the screen installed in the intake waterway can be carried out all at once, making management work extremely simple and requiring less work. It can be rationalized. Furthermore, compared to conventional dust removal equipment that uses power, the equipment is extremely inexpensive, and since there are no parts that wear out during operation, management costs can be significantly reduced.
