In the process of manufacturing the above-mentioned component mounting tape, or in the process of mounting the component mounting tape on the supply section of an assembly device and feeding it to a predetermined position, the tape must be conveyed reliably at a preset speed. Holes are drilled on one or both sides in the width direction, and claws that engage with the holes are drilled on the circumferential surface of the pulley, and by rotating the pulley, the claws are sequentially engaged with the holes in the tape. It is designed to transport tape. Static electricity is generated by the engagement and disengagement between the pulley claw and the hole in the tape during the tape conveyance operation, and the electric charge is accumulated on the tape, increasing the static voltage to 2000V to 3000V. Therefore, when a component with a low withstand voltage such as an IC is attached to the tape, there is a problem that the component becomes a defective product.

Therefore, an attempt was made to place static electricity neutralizing paper parallel to the tape surface at a predetermined interval at the position where the tape separated from the pulley, but in order to reduce the static voltage to a voltage that would cut off parts such as ICs, In this case, a large piece of static electricity neutralizing paper was required, which increased the size of the entire device, and the static electricity neutralizing paper had to be placed close to and parallel to the tape surface, making assembly difficult. In addition, when the tape is conveyed horizontally, if the tape becomes loose, it may come into contact with the static neutralizing paper and damage the static neutralizing paper, or parts may come into contact with the static neutralizing paper pasting plate and damage the parts. There was a problem of damage to the product, which was not satisfactory. Furthermore, when the static electricity neutralizing paper is pasted on a flat plate and installed adjacent to a pulley, there are problems such as that it is very difficult to tape the paper.

(Means for Solving the Problems) That is, the present invention has a plurality of claws drilled on the circumferential surface, and the tape is conveyed by engaging the claws with holes drilled in the sides in the width direction of the tape. In the pulley, there is provided a pulley for transporting a tape, in which static electricity neutralizing paper is adhered to the entire circumference of the pulley at the approximate center in the width direction adjacent to the claw.

Reference numeral 1 designates a pulley body integrally attached to a shaft 5, and has a collar 1a on both ends of the circumferential surface, a tape sliding surface 1b on the inside thereof, and an adhesive surface 1c having a smaller diameter than the sliding surface. ing. Reference numeral 2 designates a claw drilled in the tape sliding contact surface 1b of the pulley body 1, and is adapted to engage with a hole drilled in the component mounting tape 6. 3 is static neutralizing Japanese paper adhered to the adhesive surface 1c of the pulley 1 with double-sided adhesive tape 4. The width dimension (L3) of the static electricity neutralizing paper 4 is appropriately set depending on the electrostatic voltage generated, and the paper is adhered so that the distance between it and the component mounting tape 6 is as small as possible.

The above pulley body 1 has an outer circumferential dimension (D1) of 160
mm, the tape sliding surface diameter (D2) is 150 mm, the static electricity neutralizing Japanese paper adhesive surface diameter (D3) is 145 mm, and the tape sliding surface width (L1) is 36 mm. 100 nails 2 with a diameter (d) of 0.5 mm are drilled in a row so that the width (L2) is 33 mm, and static electricity with a width (L3) of 30 mm is drilled on the tape sliding surface 1c. When a 35 mm component mounting tape 6 with holes punched on both sides in the width direction was conveyed by adhering neutral Japanese paper Soldeion #1030 manufactured by Toray Industries, Inc. with double-sided adhesive tape 4.
We were able to reduce the static voltage from about 3000V to about 1000V.

(Effects of the invention) As described above, the present invention provides a pulley that conveys a tape by having a plurality of claws bored on the circumferential surface and engaging the claws with holes drilled in the sides of the tape in the width direction. By adhering static electricity neutralizing paper to the entire circumference of the pulley at the approximate center in the width direction adjacent to the claw, the following effects can be achieved.

(1) Static neutralizing paper to reduce static voltage is adhered to the circumferential surface of the pulley adjacent to the claw where static electricity is generated, so the static electricity is removed before it accumulates, effectively reducing static voltage. This makes it possible to transport tapes on which parts with low withstand voltage are attached.

(2) Since the static electricity neutralizing paper is adhered to the circumferential surface that has a smaller diameter than the tape sliding surface, the pulley diameter does not increase, making the entire device more compact.
It can be easily implemented in existing machines by simply replacing the pulley.
