Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure excellent performance for a long period by arranging a thrust plate rotation stopper on an abutting end face of an oil-impregnated bearing in respect to a thrust plate, and thereby preventing generation of abrasion powder caused by abrasion of the oil-impregnated bearing and the thrust plate, and oil leakage, that is, splash of oil. CONSTITUTION:In a bearing mechanism, an oil-impregnated bearing is fitted into a housing, and a shaft 3 is fitted thereto. A thrust plate 5 is arranged between the oil-impregnated bearing 2 and a shaft slipping preventive snap ring. In such a construction, a rotation stopper 6a of the thrust plate 5 is arranged on an abutting end face 2a of the oil-impregnated bearing 2 in respect to the thrust plate 5. For instance, the thrust plate rotation stopper 6a composed of a thrust plate fitting or press-fitting recession is arranged on the thrust plate abutting end face 2a of the oil-impregnated bearing 2. It is therefore possible to prevent generation of abrasion and abrasion powder between the end face 2a of the oil-impregnated bearing 2 and the thrust plate 5 abutting thereto, and prevent leakage (splash) of oil from the oil-impregnated bearing 2.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as shown in a schematic sectional view of FIG. 6, a bearing mechanism has been generally used. An oil-impregnated bearing 2 fitted in a housing 1, a shaft 3 attached to the oil-impregnated bearing 2, and a shaft retaining prevention. It is well known that it is made up of a snap ring 4 for use with and a plurality of thrust plates 5 mounted between the end surface of the oil bearing and the snap ring.

However, in the above-mentioned conventional bearing mechanism, the thrust plate is entangled with the rotation of the shaft, and the thrust plate contact end surface of the oil-impregnated bearing receives friction due to the thrust plate. The generation of wear powder is unavoidable, and this wear powder enters the inner surface of the bearing, not only promoting wear of this, but also oil spills out in the bearing, and all of these phenomena shorten the life of the bearing. It is the cause.

Therefore, the present inventors have
From the above point of view, as a result of research to prevent wear on the contact end face of the oil-impregnated bearing with the thrust plate, when the thrust plate rotation stopper is provided on the end face of the oil-impregnated bearing contacting the thrust plate, The wear between the thrust plate and the adjacent thrust plate is prevented, and as a result, the generation of wear powder on the end surface is eliminated, and further, the lid plate action of the thrust plate stopped to rotate causes oil leakage (jumping out) from the oil-impregnated bearing. Therefore, we obtained the research result that the service life of oil-impregnated bearings is further improved.

Next, the oil-impregnated bearing of the present invention will be specifically described by way of examples. As the raw material powder, Cu powder, Sn powder, and graphite powder having a particle size of 100 mesh or less were blended at a predetermined ratio and mixed, and then pressed into a green compact at a pressure of 2 ton / cm 2. Molded,
This green compact was sintered in a hydrogen atmosphere at a temperature of 750 ° C. for 1 hour, and had a composition of Cu-9% Sn-1.5% C, a porosity of 21%, and an outer diameter of 15 mm. × Inner diameter 8 mm × Length:
Porous Cu-based sintered alloy substrate having a size of 15 mm, and a thrust plate rotation stopper having a concave portion of maximum diameter: 13 mm x depth: 1 mm, which has a shape shown in FIG. Was formed, and then the base body was subjected to an oil immersion treatment to manufacture the oil-impregnated bearing of the present invention.

Next, the above oil-impregnated bearing of the present invention is mounted on the shaft 3 while the steel thrust plate 5 is press-fitted into the rotation stopping recess 6a formed in the end surface of the bearing 2 as shown in the schematic half sectional view of FIG. Set, on the other hand, for comparison purposes, end face 2a
A conventional oil-impregnated bearing manufactured under the same conditions except that the thrust plate rotation stopper was not formed on the shaft 3 was set on the shaft 3 in the state shown in FIG. 6, and the rotation speed was 2000 rpm and the thrust load was 9.8 N (Newton). , Test time: 500 hours, an accelerated practical test was performed, and the bearing length and oil reduction rate of the oil-impregnated bearing after the test: {(oil-impregnated weight before the test-oil-impregnated weight after the test) / oil-impregnated weight before the test} × 100 was measured, and the results are shown in Table 1.

From the results shown in Table 1, the oil-impregnated bearing of the present invention has no change in bearing length, which means that there is almost no end surface wear due to the thrust plate, and as a result, wear of the bearing surface due to end surface wear powder It is shown that the oil leakage is prevented and the oil leakage is suppressed by the lid action of the thrust plate, whereas in the conventional oil-impregnated bearing, there is also wear on the end surface, and the wear powder generated as a result causes the bearing surface to wear. It is clear that the wear of the oil also progresses and oil leakage is also observed.

Further, in FIG. 5, an oil-impregnated bearing made of a Cu-based sintered alloy of the present invention is provided on the shaft 3 on the end face of which a thrust plate rotation stopper having a recess 6d for fitting with a projection formed on the thrust plate 5 is provided. The set state is shown in a schematic half sectional view.

As described above, in the oil-impregnated bearing according to the present invention, the generation of abrasion powder and the protrusion of oil-impregnated particles due to the thrust plate are remarkably suppressed, so that excellent performance can be exhibited for a long period of time.
