Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily transmit the light of an incandescent lamp to a mirror and increase the illumination efficiency at the mirror face, by arranging illumination lamps protruded farther forward than the mirror while inclining toward the sides respectively. CONSTITUTION:A mirror cabinet comprises a cabinet body 1 provided with a mirror 2 and a plurality of illuminating appliances. る箱状に形成されており、キャビネット本体1内には鏡
2を取付けるための鏡支持枠7が形成されている。側板
6は第1側板6aと、第1側板6aの外面に取付けられ
る第2側板6bとによって形成されており、取付状態で
は第2側板6bの前端が第1側板6aの前端よりも前方
に突出するようになっていると共に第2側板6bの後端
が第1側板6aの後端よりも後方に突出するようになっ
ている。ここで、第2側板6bとして色の異なるものを
複数種用意しておくことにより、第2側板6bの取替に
よってミラーキャビネットの外観の色仕様を簡単に変え
ることができるようになっている。第2側板6bと背板
1cとの連結は、図6に示されるように第2側板6bの
後端に連結突起8が複数突設されており、この連結突起
8を背板1cの側端面に凹設された係止孔(図示せず)
に係合して第1側板6aの内面よりビス9を第2側板6
bに打入することによって位置決めされた状態で連結固
定されるようになっている。キャビネット本体1に設け
られる照明器具は蛍光灯10と白熱灯3とで構成されて
おり、蛍光灯10は鏡2を囲むようにキャビネット本体
1の上部と下部及び左右両端部に設けられている。白熱
灯3は鏡2よりも前方に突出するように鏡2を挟むよう
にしてキャビネット本体1の上部両端に設けられてい
る。各白熱灯3は図3に示されるようにキャビネット本
体1を構成する第1側板6aに取付けられた取付部材4
にて支持されるようになっており、それぞれ鏡2側に向
けて傾くようにして取付けられており、白熱灯からの照
明が効率よく鏡に向けて照らされるようになっている。
取付部材4は図4に示されるように連結板4aと、白熱
灯支持板4bとによって断面へ字状に形成されており、
連結板4aを固着具11によって第1側板6aの内面に
連結して取付けられている。ここで、白熱灯支持板4b
は取付状態で取付面が鏡2の前方を向いているものであ
り、これによって取付けられる白熱灯3は鏡2寄りに傾
いた状態で取付けられるようになっており、鏡2の中央
側に効果的な照明が行えるようになっている。キャビネ
ット本体1の上部角部には照明カバー12が取付けられ
ており、この照明カバー12に設けられた半球面状の反
射部12a内に白熱灯3が配置されている。鏡支持枠7
と第1側板6aとの間には表面側に段部13aを有する
取付桟13が設けられており、蛍光灯10は段部13a
によって段違いとなった取付桟13の取付部14にそれ

うに鏡2と第2側板6bとの間に設けられた照明カバー
である。この照明カバー15は図7に示されるように一
端に設けられた連結片15aを鏡支持枠7の外面に当接

1側板6a及び第2側板6bの内面に当接するようにし
て取付けられており、取付状態では第1側板6aの端部
を覆って第1側板6aが外観上見えないようになってい
