Furthermore, even if the tightening torque is set within the specified range, water leakage may occur from tightening points other than the optimal tightening torque over a long period of time, and the tightening torque is not constant. It is desirable for the main body to have one.

However, since both the band-shaped sealing material made of sponge rubber and the string-shaped sealing material made of solid rubber are elastically deformed by the tightening torque, it is necessary to visually check the tightening torque with a torque wrench at each tightening location. There was a problem in that the tightening work had to be continued, making the tightening work very troublesome and complicated.

(Example) An example of the present invention will be described based on the drawings.
The sealing material A is made by attaching band-shaped foam bodies a 2 to both end faces in the width direction of a rigid body a 1 formed into a band shape of a predetermined width, and making the plate thickness of the rigid body a 1 the same as the wall thickness of the band-shaped foam body a 2 . Unit panels B that are made thinner than the above, have bolt insertion holes 1 drilled therein, and are connected and fixed adjacent to each other.
Bolt insertion holes 1 are interposed between adjacent joining flanges b 1 on each side by positioning them in bolt holes 2 drilled in the joining flanges b 1 .

The rigid body a1 receives the tightening force when the adjacent joining flanges b1 are connected and fixed by the bolts 3 and nuts 4 in a state where the band-shaped foam body a2 can exhibit the best repulsion function with a uniform compression ratio. Specifically, the tightening force associated with the amount of threading of the nut 4 with respect to the bolt 3 should not be applied any more to the band-shaped foam a 2 which has reached the compressibility state where it can exhibit the best repulsion function, that is, the joint flange. The movement of the joining flange b 1 is received so that b 1 does not press the band-shaped foam member a 2 so that the foam member a 2 can exhibit the best repulsion function with a uniform compression ratio . It is molded to a predetermined thickness so as to be held in between.

This rigid body a 1 is made of a metal material, hard synthetic resin material, etc., and is connected and fixed accurately with a set tightening force, and the plate has the same thickness as the gap width secured between the joint flanges b 1 at the connection point. The outer surface is covered with a soft material A 3 to form a strip of a predetermined width, and bolt insertion holes are formed in the longitudinal direction corresponding to the bolt holes 2 of the joint flange B 1 at the center portion in the width direction. The band-shaped foam a2 is made of rubber foam, polyethylene foam, etc., and is formed into a square shape (Fig. 2) or a round shape (Fig. 5), and has a length attached to both end faces in the width direction of the rigid body a1 . Fixed to the same body over the entire length in the direction (first

Such a sealing material A is applied to the outer surface of the flange b 1 by positioning the bolt insertion hole 1 of the rigid body a 1 in the bolt hole 2 of one of the adjacent joining flanges b 1 of the unit panels B connected adjacently to each other. The band-shaped foam a 2 on both sides is attached with an adhesive or the like and interposed between the joining flanges b 1 . A bolt 3 is provided between the bolt holes 2 of both joining flanges b 1 and passed through the bolt insertion hole 1 of the rigid body a 1 , and is tightened with a nut 4 to connect and fix the joining flanges b 1 to each other. Therefore, the strip-shaped foam a 2 can exhibit the best repulsion function with uniform compression ratio between the adjacent joining flanges b 1. The space between them is a rigid body.
a 1 to ensure that it is held securely. In other words, when the band-shaped foam a2 is compressed to a compressibility state where it can exhibit the best repulsion function, the joint flange
The foam member a 2 is attached to both sides of the rigid body a 1 so that the movement of the joint flange b 1 that presses the foam member a 2 is absorbed so that the band-shaped foam member a 2 is not compressed any further. The compression ratio is kept constant (4th
figure).
