結対象となるパイプ等の被連結材a,a′の端部に
嵌着されるとともに、この部分が上記連結部材1
の両側のアリ溝状凹部2,2′に突合せ状に圧入
嵌合されており、これにより被連結材a,a′の端
部が挾着部材3,3′にて挾着保持されている。
特に挾着部材3,3′の開口端部が前記圧入嵌合
により連結部材1にて両側から幅が狭まる方向に
押圧され、その結果開口端部内側の掛止爪4,
4,4′,4′が被連結材a,a′に対し喰い込んだ
状態となつている。すなわち被連結材a,a′は一
部喰い込み状態で挾着部材3,3′にて挾着保持
されるとともに、挾着部材3,3′が連結部材1
のアリ溝状凹部2,2′内に嵌合保持されて連結
