かけてもうけた用紙の搬送路の中間部の適所に配
置し、前記感光体の転写部で未定着のトナー像を
転写されて搬送されて来る記録紙を前記ヒートロ
ールとプレツシヤーロールとの間にニツプして加
熱及び加圧して像定着を行なうように構成されて
いた。そして、該定着装置のヒートロールの表面
は記録紙に対する離型性及び耐熱性等を考慮して
通常シリコンゴムや或はフツソゴム等で被覆して
いたが、これらの材料は傷つき易い性質をもつて
いたため、ロールの交換時、取付フレームの取付
孔等に接触させて傷つけてしまう心配が多く、そ
のために当該交換作業により慎重性が要求されて
作業能率が上がらないといつた欠点があつた。

材を配置して取付けるようにしたものである。
