ームからなり、これを機械本体内の感光体の転写部から
機外の排紙トレイにかけても5けた用紙の搬送路の中間
部の適所に配置し、前記感光体の転写部で未定着のトナ
ー像を転写されて搬送されて来る記録紙を前記ヒートロ
ールとプレッシャーロールとの間にニップして加熱及び
加圧して像定着を行な5よ5に構成されていた。そして
、該定着装置のヒートロールの表面は記録紙に対する層
温性及び耐熱性等を考慮し【通常シリコレゴムや或はフ
ッソゴム勢で被覆していたが、これらの材料は傷つき易
い性質をもっていたため、ロールの交換時、取付フレー
ムの取付孔等に接触させて傷つけてしまう心配が多く、
そのために当該交換作業により慎重性が要求されて作業
能率が上がらないといった欠点があった。

共に、その下方には切欠部をもうけ、該切欠部には耐熱
性、摺動性に優れた材料で造ったヒートロールの摺動部
材を配置して取付けるようにしたものである。

ール2を支持し、当該p−ル2の表面を取付孔5′の円
周と接触しないように保ってくれる。
