Abstract

PURPOSE:To concentratvely monitor multiple breakers by setting different addresses for respective distribution boards, selecting a distribution board M on a concentrate monitoring board through an upper address signal line, selecting a breaker in a distribution board M through a lower address signal line and then transmitting the function of a selected breaker through a relay and a multiplexer on a monitor signal line X1. CONSTITUTION:When a distribution board is designated through upper address signal lines AN-AM and relays Ql-Qm in the distribution board are designated through lower address signal lines A0-AN-1, in a concentrate monitoring board, output from an arbitrary relay in an arbitrary distribution board can be obtained on a monitor signal line X1. When ON/OFF state of the monitor signal line X1 is read out on the concentrated monitoring board P, operating state of a designated breaker can be monitored. Consequently, respective distribution boards can be connected in parallel with reduced number of signal lines, wiring, extension and modification of the distribution board are facilitated, and multiple breakers can be monitored.

[Operation] Since the present invention is configured as described above, a different address is set for each distribution board M, and the distribution board M is connected from the central monitoring board P to the upper address signal lines AN to AM. , and further selects each breaker B in the distribution board M using the lower address signal lines Ao to Ato, and controls the operation of the selected circuit board B by relays Q, ~Qs+ and multiplexer MPX.
By transmitting the signal to the monitoring signal line X, a large number of breakers B can be centrally monitored. Moreover, by connecting the central monitoring board P and each distribution board M in parallel, wiring work for signal lines can be simplified, and additions and changes can be easily performed. In addition, it is possible to determine in which area the work is being performed based on the usage status of breaker B, which can save labor in managing the entire building.

Relays Q1 to QII+ for monitoring the voltage on the output side of each breaker B are built into the detection circuit. Each of the relays Q, ~Qm outputs an ON state if the respective input voltage is at a predetermined level or higher, and an OFF state if the input voltage is below a predetermined level. The output of each relay Q, ~Q+= is input to a multiplexer MPX. Here, the relays Q to Q- are AC/DC output type relays, and may be electromechanical relays or semiconductor relays.

FIG. 4 shows the configuration of an optically coupled semiconductor type AC relay that has recently become popular. A voltage Vin on the output side of the breaker B is applied via a resistor R to an AC input terminal of the diode bridge DB. A light emitting element of a photocoupler PC is connected to the DC output end of the diode bridge DB. The output voltage obtained by the light-receiving element of the photocoupler PC is input to a voltage comparator CMP, and if it is above a predetermined level, the output of the voltage comparator CMP is turned on, and if it is less than a predetermined level, it is turned off.

On the other hand, the upper address specified by the upper address signal lines A and ~AM is input to the address comparison circuit DT and compared with the upper address set by the address setting circuit DS. When the addresses match, an address match signal is sent. X0 becomes active. The address setting circuit DS is composed of a digital switch or an EEFROM, and a different upper address is set for each distribution board M. Therefore, in the centralized monitoring panel P, the upper address signal lines AN to AM

10 FF By reading the F status on the centralized monitoring panel P, the operating status of the designated breaker can be monitored. Here, if the total number of upper address signal lines and lower address signal lines is, for example, 12, then 2+2=4096 breakers can be centrally monitored. Moreover, since the centralized monitoring panel P can be configured at low cost using a commercially available personal computer, it is possible to centrally monitor the operating status of a large number of breakers using an inexpensive system. In addition, since each distribution board M is connected in parallel, expansion and wiring changes can be easily accommodated.

, driver DR, buffer BF and control circuit CC
It is constructed by connecting input/output circuits E including the following. Driver DR is isolated between input and output, and data bus L3
From address signal line A. ~ Send address signal to AM. Buffer BF is also connected between input and output, and takes in a monitoring signal from monitoring signal line X to data bus 3. These driver DR and buffer BF are connected to address signal line A due to wiring error or malfunction. - This is provided to protect other circuits connected to the data bus L3 of the personal computer from being destroyed even if the AM or supervisory signal line X1 is short-circuited.

[Effects of the Invention] In the breaker centralized monitoring device of the present invention, as described above, the upper address signal line selects the distribution board, and the lower address signal line selects the individual breakers in the distribution board. Since the selected breaker operation is configured to be transmitted to the monitoring signal line via a relay and multiplexer, each distribution board can be connected in parallel with fewer signal lines, making it easier to wire and expand distribution boards. This has the effect of being able to monitor a large number of breakers while being easy to change.
