ンジンの吸気通路を開閉操作して前記エンジンの
吸気量を制御するロータリバルブが前記エンジン
の吸気通路に介設され、かつ前記エンジンのクラ
ンク軸の回転に同期して前記ロータリバルブのバ
ルブ本体を回転駆動するとともに、前記クランク
軸に対する前記ロータリバルブ本体の回転の位相
を変化させるロータリバルブの位相調整機構を内
蔵したロータリバルブ駆動装置を備えたエンジン
の吸気量制御装置において、 駆動モータによつて回転駆動されるウオームギ
アとこのウオームギアに噛合されるウオームホイ
ールとによつて前記ロータリバルブの位相調整機
構を駆動する位相調整機構駆動手段を形成したこ
