Are known. As for paper that has been incorporated into paper, patterned paper in which various dyed cellulose fibers are mixed with bleached pulp, or patterned paper in which screen residue from the pulping process is mixed with bleached pulp or unbleached pulp is known. 53-45
(See Publication No. 412). Also, patterned paper containing crushed cottonseed husks (see Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 125099/1983)

。The inventor of this application focused on unused plant resources in the papermaking industry, and as a result of intensive research on their application to patterned paper, roasted coffee beans, which had previously been discarded or used only as fuel for boilers, were discovered. We came up with the idea of effectively using the extraction residue.

Used alone or in combination. It is preferable to use particles pulverized to a particle size of 3 mm or less. However, if particles with a particle size of 0.1 mm or less are used, it is difficult to achieve the textured pattern that is a feature of the present invention, and if particles with a particle size of more than 3 mm are used, the pattern obtained is difficult to obtain. When paper is used as printing paper, crushed materials are caught in the blanket during printing and become an obstacle to printing.

Note that parts and percentages are based on weight unless otherwise specified. Example 1 100 parts of N and L mixed bleached wood valve beaten to 350mI CS F (B to P) were heated with 5.0 parts of roasted coffee bean extract residue crushed to an average particle size of 3 mm or less to obtain rosin size. Agent (Sizevine E

2.0% of cysarin (manufactured by Matsutani Chemical Co., Ltd.) and 0.7% of sulfuric acid were added. 7% of oxidized starch as size liquid
Surface sizing was performed using a concentration of 10 m2.
03 m2 of patterned paper was made. The paper produced has a rich texture with many crushed roasted coffee bean extraction residues dotted throughout the paper, and the surface is even and has no unevenness, and the extraction residue is integrated into the paper. The paper is made using the same method, so it will not peel off.

いものである。Example 3 3.0 pieces of roasted coffee bean extract residue crushed to an average particle size of 3 mm or less were heated to 100 mL of beaten N and L mixed bleached wood pulp in 350 ml CS F, and Scarlet 4BS (
3.0% red direct dye (manufactured by Mitsubishi Chemical Industries, Ltd.), 0.3% lysine sizing agent (Sizepine E), 2.0% starch-based paper strength enhancer (Saisalin), recycled sodium himate. Salt (CHA-02, manufactured by Chill Night Co., Ltd.) was added at a ratio of 0.3% to the dye, and sulfuric acid was added at a ratio of 0.7%. Surface sizing was performed using 7% oxidized starch as a sizing liquid, and patterned printing paper with a basis weight of 100 g/m2 was made. The paper produced was a patterned paper with a richly colored and unique texture, in which both the crushed roasted coffee bean extraction residue and the pulp were dyed, and the somewhat darkly colored extraction residue formed a pattern. When this patterned paper was tested using a printing machine in the same manner as in Example 1, it was found to have good printability. The patterned papers obtained in Examples 1 to 3 above have sufficient paper strength such as tensile strength and surface strength, and are highly practical.
