DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention can create pseudo-inlays that can achieve the same effect as inlays by using screen printing in combination, and can also perform separate coatings that are normally done by masking using the same method. This invention relates to a method for creating pseudo-inlays and pseudo-paintings.

Generally, the inlaying method involves forming a recess in the base material, inserting a foreign object (wood, shell, metal, etc.) into the recess as an inlay material, and then smoothing the surface to create the final product. The purpose of the invention is to easily obtain the same effect as inlay by using screen printing in combination, and also to easily perform separate painting, which is normally done by masking, using the same method. It is possible to easily reproduce inlays that require a high level of skill, and it is also possible to easily create beautiful border lines that are technically extremely difficult by using the same method of painting. be.

The gist of the present invention is to affix a decorative veneer partially or completely to the surface of the base material, then apply a clear coat to the entire surface, finish it smooth after drying,
Next, the method for creating pseudo-inlays and pseudo-painting consists of leaving the part that you want to show as the inlay or painting part, applying screen printing to the other parts, and finishing it smooth after drying.

As shown in the figure, an inlay material 3, which is a different material, is fitted into the recess 2, and then the surface is ground smooth as shown in Fig. 3, and then a coating 4 is applied thereon as shown in Fig. 4. It is. In creating such an inlay, it is difficult to form the recess 2, and it is also difficult to form the inlay material 3 to be fitted, and it is of course extremely difficult to create an inlay with a complicated shape.

Conventionally, the method of separately applying the paint is to first form a mask 5 on the base material 1 as shown in FIG. 5, then apply the first coating 6 thereon as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 7, the mask 5 is removed and the surface of the coating 6 is smoothed, and as shown in FIG. 8, a mask 7 is provided on the surface of the coating 6 by masking. Apply a second coat of paint 8 on top of that, then apply the first coat of paint 8.
As shown in Figure 0, the mask 7 is removed and the surface of the coating 8 is ground to make the surface smooth.
Not only is the process of dividing the paint using this method complicated, but it is also difficult to achieve a clean border line. On the other hand, when using the method of the present invention, by using screen printing in combination, it is possible to easily obtain the same effect as inlaying, which requires a high level of skill, and also to create boundaries that are technically extremely difficult to apply separately. It is easy to create beautiful lines, and the method of the present invention has the effect of easily and beautifully achieving the same appearance as conventional inlays and separate coatings.

First, as shown in FIG. 11, a decorative veneer 9 is partially attached to a base material 1, and then, as shown in FIG. 12, a clear coating 10 is applied to the entire surface, and after drying, the surface is smoothed. After that, as shown in Fig. 13, screen printing 1 is applied to the other parts, leaving only the parts to be shown in the inlaid or painted areas.
1 is applied, and then a clear coating 12 is applied thereon as shown in FIG. 14, and after drying, the surface is ground to give a smooth finish.
