In general, when painting and finishing the upper front plate, lower front plate, main plate (side plate), roof plate, etc. that make up the outer case of a keyboard instrument such as a piano, the first step is to use the above-mentioned wood-produced plate bodies. The (fabric) is subjected to a belt sander to adjust the surface by removing scratches and smoothing it out.Secondly, the required colored paint is sprayed on the surface with a spray gun, and the paint is soaked into the fabric to apply a base coat. Thirdly, a transparent polyurethane paint is sprayed on the surface to a thickness of about 20μ to form a sealing layer to prevent the color paint from seeping in in the next step, and fourthly, to hide the uneven shading caused by the base coating. Moreover, in order to express the desired color, we applied a colored paint similar to the base paint but darker than it.
Fifth, a transparent paint made of polyester varnish is spray applied to a thickness of approximately 80μ to fill in and smooth the conduit holes on the surface of the fabric, and in the sixth step, the surface is given a mirror finish. A transparent photo-curable paint (UV-curable polyester varnish) is applied on top using a flow coater to a thickness of approximately 300μC, and then this is coated with a high-pressure mercury lamp or an ultraviolet fluorescent lamp.
The procedure is to cure the material by irradiating it for about 20 minutes, then use a belt sander again to finish the surface, and then apply a bath to polish it.

It is not inconceivable to add a pattern using a brush or spray gun after the above-mentioned smoothing coating (fifth step) is completed, but it would be very time-consuming and would not be like a one-dish meal. It is not suitable for mass production, so it has not been carried out in reality.

This invention was devised in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and uses ultraviolet curing paint to express a three-dimensional uneven pattern on the surface of the painted board, increasing the product value and creating a new product suitable for mass production. The first step is to prepare the surface of the plate, apply two layers of colored paint and transparent paint alternately to the surface as a base coat, and then coat the surface with light curing paint. is applied to the required thickness, the paint layer is irradiated with ultraviolet rays for a short time to semi-cure, and a mold with a pattern of unevenness or holes is pressed or buried in the paint layer to form a convex or concave pattern. Then, the mold is removed, and the photocuring paint is cured by irradiating it with ultraviolet rays again to express a three-dimensional pattern on the plate.Secondly, the surface of the plate is adjusted, A base coat is applied by alternately applying two layers of a colored paint and a transparent paint to the surface, a photocurable paint is applied to the surface to the required thickness, and the paint layer is irradiated with ultraviolet rays for a short period of time to semi-cure. A convex or concave pattern is formed by pressing or forming a mold with a pattern of unevenness or holes on the paint layer, a colored coating is applied to the surface including the pattern, and the excess portion of the colored coating is removed. The plate is then irradiated with ultraviolet rays again to harden the photocurable paint, creating a three-dimensional pattern on the plate.

FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention, and a in FIG. belt sander 1
As shown in the second figure, the spray gun 2 is used to apply a desired thin coloring paint 3 to the surface.
A is sprayed on the surface to form a sealing layer, and then a transparent polyurethane paint 3 is applied to the surface using another spray gun 2' as shown in Figure 2 to form a sealing layer.
b is applied to a thickness of about 20 μm.Fourthly, in order to hide the uneven shading of the base paint 3a and express the desired color, base paint 3a is applied over the transparent sealing paint 3b as shown in Figure E. A colored paint 3c of a similar color but darker than this is applied using a spray gun 2''.Fifth, to smooth the surface, a transparent paint 3d made of polyester varnish is applied to a thickness of approximately 80μ as shown in the figure. The procedure of applying transparent photo-curing paint 5 made of ultraviolet-curable polyester varnish to a thickness of about 300 μm using a flow coater 4 as shown in FIG. It's no different from the one.

By the way, in this invention, as the next step H, the above-mentioned photocurable paint is irradiated with a high-pressure mercury lamp or an ultraviolet fluorescent lamp 6 for about 10 minutes to make it into a semi-cured state, and the top of the semi-cured paint 5 is As shown in the figure, a mold D made of metal or the like engraved with an uneven pattern such as polka dots or a grid is placed and pressed against the photocuring paint 5 to form a large number of unevenness on the painted surface. Then, remove the mold D from the painted surface, and then turn on the mercury lamp or fluorescent lamp 6 again as shown in Figure 1.
By irradiating the painted surface for about 10 minutes to harden it, the desired pattern will appear three-dimensionally on the plate a.

FIG. 2 shows another embodiment of the present invention, in which a light curing paint 5 is applied on top of the base coatings 3a to 3d applied to the plate body a as described above. After the seventh step of semi-curing,
A type with a number of striped protrusions on the bottom surface as shown in the figure.
D' is placed and pressed toward the photocurable paint layer to form multi-striped recesses 5' on this paint layer,
Next, as shown in Figure 1, a colored paint 7 of the same type or different color as the base coloring paint is sprayed onto the surface, and then this is applied to the belt sander 1 as shown in Figure 2, except for the streaky recesses 5'. The colored paint 7 on the surface is removed, and then, as shown in Figure O, a thin layer of photo-curing paint 5 is applied to the surface again, and the colored recesses are covered and cured using an ultraviolet fluorescent lamp 6 or the like.
To express a beautiful colored striped pattern three-dimensionally on a plate a.

Further, FIG. 3 shows still another embodiment, in which the base coats 3a to 3d for coloring and smoothing are completed on the plate body a as shown in the figure. ″Multiple holes on it as shown
Place the mold D″ with the mold D 1 ″ on it, and in this state apply the photocuring paint 5 on the plate a as indicated by the dotted line to a thickness that almost covers the mold D″. D″ hole
(Due to surface tension, the paint 5 has a concave shape in the area D1 ' '), is irradiated with a high-pressure mercury lamp or an ultraviolet fluorescent lamp 6 for a short time to semi-cure, and then the mold D'' is removed from the top of the plate a. At the same time, the uncured paint 5 that has entered the gap other than the hole D 1 ″ is removed using a solvent.
As shown in Figure 1', a large number of protrusions 8 of photo-curing paint with concave surfaces are formed on the plate a, and then, as shown in Figure 1, a base coloring paint is applied to the surface of the plate A including the protrusions 8. Alternatively, apply another colored paint 7, then remove the colored paint 7 from the corner edges of the protrusion 8 using the belt sander 1 as shown in the figure, and then remove the colored paint 7 from the corner edges of the protrusion 8 as shown in the figure
The photo-curing paint 5 is applied again onto the plate a containing the paint, and is cured by the lamp 6, thereby forming a three-dimensional pattern of specially colored polka dots on the plate a.
