Abstract
Description
本発明は、外装用の化粧材の製造に使用する転写シート
に関する。The present invention relates to a transfer sheet used for manufacturing decorative materials for exterior use.
外装用化粧材の製造に当って、塗装では実現できないよ
うな意匠をもった製品をつくろうとする場合は、転写法
が利用されている。 一般にこの目的で使用する転写シ
ートは、離型性を有する転写台紙たとえばプラスチック
フィルムの上に、ビヒクルとしてセルロース誘導体、ス
チレン系樹脂またはビニル樹脂を用いたインキで絵柄を
印刷したものがほとんどである。
これらの転写シートは、それによって与えられる絵柄印
刷層が耐候性に乏しいため、外装用の化粧材や屋外で使
用する成形品の絵付けに使用したとき、製品は耐久性の
低いものである。
硬化性樹脂をビヒクルとするインキで絵柄を印刷した転
写シートは、耐候性のよい外装化粧材を与えることがで
きるが、その製造に加熱や電離敢剣線の照射などインキ
層の硬化工程を必要とするから、コスト高を免れない。
[発明が解決しようとする課題1
本発明の目的は、絵柄印刷層の耐候性か高く、従って耐
久性のよい外装用化粧材を与えることかでき、しかも製
造容易でコストの低い転写シートを提供することにおる
。
[課題を解決するための手段]
本発明の外装化粧材用転写シートは、基本的には、プラ
スチックフィルムなどの離型性を有する転写台紙上に、
アクリル樹脂またはアクリル樹脂と塩ビ−酢ビ共重合体
との混合物をビヒクルとするインキを用いるか、あるい
はフッ素樹脂またはフッ素樹脂とアクリル樹脂との混合
物をビヒクルとするインキを用いた絵柄印刷層を設【ブ
てなる。
被転写材の下地を隠蔽したいときや、転写に当って被転
写材に転写台紙が接着する心配があるときは、第1図に
示すように、絵柄印刷層(2)の上に、絵柄を印刷した
インキと同様なビヒクルを用いた着色インキで、ベタ印
刷層(3)をさらに設けるとよい。
第2図に示すように、絵柄印刷層(2)と転写台紙(1
)との剥離性を向上させるために、両者の間にアクリル
樹脂系の剥離剤層(4)を設けるとよい。 剥離剤層は
転写後に絵柄印刷層の保護層となって耐候性を向上ざぜ
るから、これは推奨される態様である。 剥離剤にベン
ゾトリアゾルや亜鉛粉末などの紫外線吸収剤を添加して
おくと、絵柄印刷層の変色、退色を防止でき好ましい。
第2図の例も、ベタ印刷層(3)を有する。
転写台紙は、従来から転写シートに使用して来たものと
同様でよい。 適当な材料の例をあげれば、プラスチッ
クフィルムでは、ポリエステル、ポリオレフィン、ポリ
アミド、ポリイミド、ビニル樹脂、セルロース、ポリス
チレン、ポリカーボネート、ポリエーテルエーテルケト
ン、ボリアリレートのフィルムであり、絵柄を印刷する
インキのビヒクルによっては、アクリル樹脂やフッ素樹
脂のフィルムを使用してもよい。 あるいは、薄葉紙、
上質紙、硫酸紙などの紙にポリオレフィン樹脂ヤシリ]
ン樹脂で離型層を設けたものも使用できる。 これらの
中でも、とくに二軸延伸したポリエチレンテレフタレー
トフィルムは、寸法安定性、耐熱性および離型性にすぐ
れている点て最適である。 転写台紙の厚さは、材料や
用途にもよるが、一般に5〜200μmか適当である。
絵柄の印刷および着色ペタ印刷に使用するインキのビヒ
クルとして、アクリル樹脂を単独で使用した場合、印刷
層か剛いために曲面への転写が難しい。 アクリル樹脂
と塩ビ−酢ビ共重合体との混合物を使用すればこの点は
改善されるか、塩ビ酢ビ共重合体の含有量が多くなると
耐候性が低下するから、両者の割合は、アクリル樹脂:
塩ビ酢ビ共重合体−5:5〜8:2の範囲にすることが
好ましい。 また、フッ素樹脂は溶剤への溶解度が小さ
いため、それを単独で使用したインキは厚膜の印刷層を
設けるには適しない。 アクリル樹脂を混合して使用す
ることにより、転写シートの用途が広がり好ましい。
混合比は重量で、アクリル樹脂:フッ素樹脂−8:2〜
3ニアの範囲が適当である。 とくにインキ層の耐候性
と可撓性とを両立させるためには、アクリル樹脂:フッ
素樹脂−8:2〜5:5か好ましい。
本発明で使用するフッ素樹脂は、溶剤に比較的よく溶け
るもの、たとえばポリフッ化ヒニリデンまたはフッ化エ
チレン−ビニルエーテル共重合体か好ましい。
転写台紙への印刷は、グラビア印刷法、スクリーン印刷
法、フレキソ印刷法なと既知の手段でよい。
[作 用]
本発明の転写シートは、絵柄を印刷するインキのビヒク
ルとして耐候性のよい樹脂を用いたことにより、日光や
風雨にざらされても変色したり層間剥離をおこしたりす
ることのない絵柄印刷層を、被転写材に与えることかで
きる。
[実施例11
定尺の軽量発泡コンクリート板(小野田ニーニルシー製
)の全面に、アクリル系エマルジョンの水性弾性塗料の
塗膜を形成し、表面を研摩して外装用化粧材の基材を用
意した。
一方、メチルエチルケトンとトルエンを1:1に混合し
た溶剤に、ポリフッ化ビニリデン30重量%およびアク
リル樹脂70重量%からなるビヒクルを顔料とともに分
散した絵柄印刷インキを用意した。 厚さ25μmのポ
リエチレンテレフタレートフィルムrs#251 (
ダイヤホイル製)を転写台紙とし、花崗岩の絵柄をグラ
ビア印刷して本発明の転写シートを得た。
上記基材にプライマーrALcプライマー」(昭和イン
ク工業所製)を塗布し、その上に本発明の転写シートを
重ね、145°Cに加熱したロールを5 K9 / c
tiの圧力で加圧した。 転写速度2m/分で転写台紙
を剥離したのち、フッ化エチレン/ビニルエーテル共重
合体系のフッ素樹脂塗料rL−10フロール」 (大阪
ワニス製)をロールコートして、表面保護層を形成した
。
[実施例2]
定尺の繊維強化′6青スラグボード「タフウオール」
(朝日防火板製)を湿気硬化ウレタン塗料「Vセラン#
1001 (大日本塗料製)で防水処理し、アクリル
樹脂とウレタン樹脂を含むサーフエサ−r400GAl
(人日本塗料製〉をフロコートして塗膜を形成し、
表面を研摩して外装用化粧材の基材とした。
アクリル樹脂をビヒクルとするインキで、転写台紙とす
る厚ざ25μ仇の二軸延伸ポリエチレンテレフタレート
フィルムrs#25J (タイヤホイル製)に、抽像
柄および背理をグラビア印刷して本発明の転写シートを
得た。
上記基材に、アクリル樹脂−ウレタン樹脂系プライマー
「]ニニシン220 (大阪ワニス製)を塗布し、この
転写シートを用いて実施例1と同様に印刷層を転写し、
さらに表面保護層を形成して外装用の化粧材を得た。
[実施例3]
実施例2と同様な外装用化粧材の基材を用意した。
厚さ25μ■の二軸延伸ポリエチレンテレフタレートフ
ィルムrs#25J (ダイヤホイル製)を転写台紙
として使用した。 転写台紙上に、アクリル樹脂系剥離
剤(諸早インキ製)をグラビアコートし、ついてその上
に実施例1と同様な絵柄印刷インキで、花崗岩の絵柄を
印刷して本発明の転写シートを得た。
実施例2と同様に、上記基材へのプライマーの塗イb、
得られた転写シートによる印刷層の転写および表面保護
層の形成を行なって、外装用の化粧材を得た。
[発明の効果1
本発明の転写シー1〜は、所望の意匠の絵柄印刷層をも
ら、耐候性のよい外装用の化粧材を与えることかできる
。
この転写シートの製造は印刷だけで足り、印刷層の硬化
か不要であるから工程か簡単であって、低いコストで実

(3) The transfer sheet according to claim 1 or 2, further comprising an acrylic resin release agent layer between the transfer mount and the picture printing layer. (4) Any of claims 1 to 3, further comprising a colored solid printing layer using an ink containing an acrylic resin or a mixture of an acrylic resin and a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer as a vehicle on the pattern printing layer. A transfer sheet. (5) The transfer sheet according to any one of claims 1 to 3, further comprising a colored solid printing layer using an ink containing a fluororesin or a mixture of a fluororesin and an acrylic resin as a vehicle on the pattern printing layer.
