の外側壁に固定し、前記フランジ部とクランクケ
ースの外側壁との間のアイドラシヤフトの外周面
にギヤ支持部を設け、このギヤ支持部にアイドラ
ギヤを回転自在に嵌合支持するとともに、このア
イドラギヤとフランジ部との間およびアイドラギ
ヤとクランクケースの外側壁との間に、中間部に
弾性体を挟持したスラストプレートを介在したこ
とを特徴とするエンジンのアイドラギヤ支持装置
