[Technical Field of the Invention] The present invention relates to a novel photocurable silicone composition, and more particularly to a photocurable silicone composition that is cured by short-term irradiation with ultraviolet light. TECHNICAL BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION AND ITS PROBLEMS Compositions and methods for curing silicones with ultraviolet light have been described in the prior art. For example, US Pat. No. 3,726,710 describes a curing method in which various sensitizers are added to a vinyl group-containing polyorganosiloxane and high-intensity ultraviolet irradiation is used. However, this method has the disadvantage that curing occurs only on the surface and does not uniformly cure the inside. Further, U.S. Patent No. 3,816,282 proposes a composition in which addition crosslinking is performed using a mercapto group-containing polyorganosiloxane, polymethylvinylsiloxane, and various organic peroxides, but this composition has poor storage stability at room temperature. Unfortunately, there was a serious drawback in that gelation progressed. In addition, the synthesis of mercapto group-containing polyorganosiloxanes required a multistep process, and there were also disadvantages such as emitting a bad odor peculiar to mercapto groups. Publication No. 19865 discloses a composition comprising a mercapto group-containing polyorganosiloxane and a dihydric phenol or its alkyl derivative as a gelling inhibitor, but although the stability during storage was improved, the mercapto group-containing polyorganosiloxane The drawbacks mentioned above for polyorganosiloxanes remained as well. Another drawback was that the curing occurred only on the surface, and the inside was not uniformly cured. Also, Tokko Akira
Publication No. 52-40334 discloses a composition that uses a vinyl group-containing polyorganosiloxane, a polyorganohydrodiene siloxane, and a sensitizer, and is crosslinked by an addition reaction, but this also cures only the surface and hardens the inside. However, it has the serious drawback of causing a foaming phenomenon. Furthermore, JP-A-48-19682 proposes a composition consisting of a polyorganosiloxane containing an acrylic unsaturated group and a sensitizer, but while this method has an excellent photosensitizing effect, it does not suffer from the effects of oxygen. It has the disadvantage that it is easily susceptible to light and has large changes in photosensitivity over time and dark decay. Moreover, the synthesis of the polyorganosiloxane containing acrylic unsaturation requires multiple steps, and the resulting silicone has the disadvantage of poor heat resistance. In addition, a composition comprising an azide group-containing polyorganosiloxane, a vinyl group-containing polyorganosiloxane, and an organic peroxide has been disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 54
This is proposed in Publication No. -69197. This is due to the hydrogen abstraction reaction from the hydrocarbon group of the polyorganosiloxane due to the decomposition of the azide in the azide group-containing polyorganosiloxane, the insertion reaction into the vinyl group of the vinyl group-containing polyorganosiloxane, and the crosslinking reaction due to the coupling reaction between nitrenes. This method combines hydrogen abstraction reaction from the hydrocarbon groups of polyorganosiloxane by decomposition of an organic peroxide, and crosslinking reaction by insertion reaction into the vinyl groups of polyorganosiloxane containing vinyl groups. This proposal had the advantage of having excellent photosensitivity, being unaffected by oxygen, and having little change in photosensitivity over time.
It had the disadvantage of yellowing. Also, JP-A-55-
No. 125123 discloses that a composition comprising a vinyl group-containing polyorganosiloxane or a vinyl group-containing polyorganosiloxane and an organic peroxide is
A method of irradiating ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 100 to 300 nm is described, but in the case of vinyl group-containing polyorganosiloxane only, the surface is only hardened;
It has disadvantages in that it does not harden to a deep level, and the curing time is too long to be practical. In addition, when using organic peroxides in combination, the peroxyketanol-based, dialkyl-based, and ester-based organic peroxides exemplified in the same patent have uncured surfaces and curing times that are too long to be practical. The disadvantage was that it required a long period of time. One of the inventors of the present invention further discovered that by using a peroxyester of an aromatic carboxylic acid and an aliphatic alcohol as an organic peroxide, polyorganosiloxane can be effectively and uniformly cured from the inside to the surface. discovered (Unexamined Japanese Patent Publication No. 1983-
109852), but depending on the application, further shortening of the curing time was required. Furthermore, when the working environment is a problem, such as in a narrow workplace, there is a problem that it is difficult to use because of the odor of the decomposition products. [Purpose of the Invention] The present invention provides a photocurable material that has good ultraviolet curability and that the resulting cured product does not impair the inherent characteristics of silicone such as electrical properties, heat resistance, cold resistance, and weather resistance. The object is to provide a silicone composition. [Structure of the Invention] The photocurable silicone composition of the present invention has (1) an average composition formula;

The present invention relates to a photocurable silicone composition comprising 0.1 to 10.0 parts by weight of a silyl group-containing peroxyester represented by (R 3 represents a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group). The polyorganosiloxane (1) targeted by the present invention is represented by the above compositional formula, where R 1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group other than a vinyl group. R 1 is a methyl group, ethyl group, propyl group, butyl group, isobutyl group, amyl group,
Alkyl groups such as hexyl, octyl, and decyl; alkenyl groups such as allyl and cyclohexenyl; cycloalkyl groups such as cyclopentyl and cyclohexyl; aryl groups such as phenyl and naphthyl; tolyl and xylyl groups , alkali groups such as mesityl groups; aralkyl groups such as benzyl groups and phenylethyl groups; or groups in which some or all of the hydrogen atoms of these groups are substituted with halogen atoms, etc., such as 3,3,3-trifluoro Examples include propyl group, chloromethyl group, chlorophenyl group, cyanoethyl group, etc., but from the viewpoint of ease of synthesis, strength and heat resistance of the formed cured film, all are methyl groups, or methyl groups and phenyl groups. It is preferable. When consisting of a methyl group and a phenyl group, the phenyl group
It is preferable that the proportion is 10% or less, with the remainder being methyl groups. If the phenyl group exceeds 10%, the silicone formed will turn yellow and will also be economically disadvantageous. The vinyl group of the polyorganosiloxane increases the crosslinking efficiency, and its presence can significantly shorten the photocuring time. In particular, the viscosity of polyorganosiloxane at 25℃ is 500cSt.
If it is lower, the effect of accelerating curing by the vinyl group becomes extremely large. The higher the amount of vinyl groups, the shorter the curing time, but it is preferably 50% or less of the total organic groups because the strength of the silicone after curing is brittle and the heat resistance is poor. , more preferably 10% or less. In addition, adhesive properties appear due to the vinyl groups contained in the polyorganosiloxane. Considering the efficient curing time, the viscosity of this polyorganosiloxane at 25° C. is preferably 50 cSt or more, and more preferably 500 cSt or more. Moreover, there is no particular restriction on the structure, and it may be linear, branched, or cyclic. The silyl group-containing peroxyester (2) is the most distinctive feature of the present invention; it decomposes when irradiated with ultraviolet rays, generates radicals, and hardens the polyorganosiloxane described above. R 2 in the formula is a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent phenyl group, and specific examples thereof include a phenyl group,
2,4-dichlorophenyl group, p-(i-propyl)phenyl group, 2-chlorophenyl group, 3-chlorophenyl group, 4-chlorophenyl group, 2,
Examples include 4,6-trichlorophenyl group, but phenyl group or 2,4-dichlorophenyl group is preferable from the viewpoint of ease of synthesis and availability of raw materials. Furthermore, R 3 in the formula is not particularly limited as long as it is a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group. Specific examples include alkyl groups such as methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl, hexyl, octyl, decyl, undecyl, and octadecyl; aryl groups such as phenyl; alkalis such as tolyl and xylyl; groups; aralkyl groups such as 2-phenylethyl groups; or groups in which some or all of the hydrogen atoms of these groups are substituted with halogen atoms, etc., such as chloromethyl groups,
Examples include a chlorophenyl group and a cyanoethyl group, but a group selected from a methyl group, an ethyl group, and a phenyl group is preferable from the viewpoint of ease of synthesis and availability of raw materials. These may be the same or different from each other. The silyl group-containing peroxyester of the present invention is
It is synthesized as follows. That is, 3-methylbuten-3-ol and a triorganosilane represented by the general formula HSiR 3 3 (wherein R 3 is as described above) are mixed in the presence of a hydrosilylation catalyst such as a platinum compound without a solvent or By reacting in an organic solvent such as benzene, toluene, or xylene, the general formula A silyl group-containing alcohol is obtained.
The reaction is generally carried out in the range of room temperature to 100°C,
It may be carried out using a suitable organic solvent at temperatures above 100°C, such as its reflux temperature. When this is treated with hydrogen peroxide and sulfuric acid, the general formula A silyl group-containing hydroperoxide represented by is obtained. This reaction is exothermic and is suitably carried out at room temperature. In addition, the general formula While keeping the reaction temperature below 20°C, the acid chloride represented by
- The silyl group-containing peroxyester of the present invention can be obtained by reacting in an organic solvent such as hexane, then washing with water until neutral, and distilling off the solvent, or recrystallizing. Specific examples of the silyl group-containing peroxyester of the present invention include 3-benzoylperoxy-3-
Methylbutyltriethylsilane, 3-benzoylperoxy-3-methylbutyldiphenylmethylsilane, 3-benzoylperoxy-3-methylbutylphenyldimethylsilane, 3-benzoylperoxy-3-methylbutyltriphenylsilane, 3-(2 , 4-dichlorobenzoylperoxy)-3-methylbutyltriethylsilane, 3-

Methylbutyldiphenylmethylsilane, 3-(2,
4-dichlorobenzoylperoxy)-3-methylbutylphenyldimethylsilane, 3-(2,4
-dichlorobenzoylperoxy)-3-methylbutyltriphenylsilane and the like. The amount of silyl group-containing peroxyester to 100 parts by weight of polyorganosiloxane is 0.1
~10.0 parts by weight, preferably 0.1 to 5.0 parts by weight. If the amount is less than 0.1 part by weight, the curing speed will be slow and a sufficient crosslinking effect will not be obtained. 10 again
Even if it is added in excess of parts by weight, the expected effect will not be obtained. Although the composition of the present invention comprising a polyorganosiloxane and a silyl group-containing peroxyester is cured by irradiation with ultraviolet rays, there are no particular restrictions on the light source used. Furthermore, in order to further improve the mechanical strength of the cured product, it is possible to add fumed silica, precipitated silica, calcined silica, silica airgel, quartz fine powder, etc. as necessary. These silicas may be used alone or in combination of two or more, and may be used as is, or the surface may be coated with organic silicon such as polydimethylsiloxane, octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane, or hexamethyldisilane. It may be used after being treated with a compound. In addition, acetophenone, benzoinpropyl ether, benzoin butyl ether, diethoxyacetophenone, 2-methyl-2-hydroxypropiophenone, 1-(4-isopropylphenyl)-2-hydroxy-2-methylpropanone, etc. A sensitizer may also be added. [Effects of the Invention] The composition according to the present invention comprising a polyorganosiloxane of a type widely used industrially as a base polymer and a silyl group-containing peroxyester can be effectively cured by short-term irradiation with ultraviolet rays. I can do it. The cured product thus obtained has extremely excellent electrical properties, heat resistance, and weather resistance. Therefore, the cured product can be used in a wide range of applications, including protective coatings for semiconductor junctions, moisture-proof coatings for passive devices such as condenser coils, and buffer coatings for optical fibers. In addition, the decomposition products generated from silyl group-containing peroxyesters during curing have low odor.
Does not cause problems in the working environment. [Examples of the Invention] The present invention will be described below with reference to Examples. In the examples, all parts represent parts by weight. Example 1 100 parts of a polydimethylsiloxane with a viscosity of 4,000 cSt at 25°C, which has both molecular chain ends blocked with trimethylsilyl groups, has 10 mol% of methylvinylsiloxy units, and the remainder is dimethylsiloxy units,
Comparative Example Samples 11 and 12 and Invention Samples 13 to 16 were obtained by blending 4 parts of the organoperoxide and silyl group-containing organoperoxide shown in Table 1. Each of these samples was coated on an aluminum plate to a thickness of 10 μm, and ultraviolet rays were irradiated from a distance of 10 cm using an 80 W/cm high-pressure mercury lamp (4 kW), and the curing time was measured. The results shown in Table 1 were obtained. Obtained.
