Abstract

PURPOSE:To equip a joint part with fatigue resistance against iterative temp. variations and external force applications and enhance the reliability by holding a cable with plastic deformation of a holder part, and securing the cable to the holder part using a solder paste applied previously to the inner wall of the holder part. CONSTITUTION:A U-form holder part 1 is provided which is deformable plastically to a connector terminal. A solder paste 2 is applied previously to the inner wall of this holder part 1. In the condition that one end of a cable 3 is inserted in the holder part 1, the open end of the holder part 1 is deformed plastically, and holding is made with the holder part 1 while cable end is in pressure contact with the open end. The holder part 1 is heated for a certain period of time from the outside by a heating means, for ex. soldering iron 4, to melt the soldering paste 2, and thereby the cable end is secured to the holder part 1.
