Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent dehumidified water from overflowing by a method wherein a drain passage connecting between a drain pan disposed at a lower part of a heat exchanger and a water accumulating tank is formed by a drain pipe and a substantial U-shaped pipe covering a lower side of the drain pipe. CONSTITUTION:A drain passage 13 connecting between a drain pan 12 and a water accumulation tank 11 is comprised of a drain pipe 14 and a substantial U-shaped pipe 15 covering around a lower side of the drain pipe 14. One end 14s of the drain pipe 14 is arranged in opposition to a lower part of a drain port 12a of the drain pan 12, the other end is faced against an inlet port of a water accumulation tank 11. The substantial U-shaped pipe 15 may receive overflowing water from both ends of the drain pipe 14 so as to prevent dehumidified water from over flowing into a storing box 2 or a closet. If the drain pipe 14 is clogged with foreign substance or dusts or the like, dehumidified water overflowing an opposed end of the drain port 12a of the drain pipe 14 is guided to the water accumulation tank 11.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to a drainage device for a dehumidifier, and in particular relates to overflow prevention.6 [Prior Art] A conventional drainage device for a dehumidifier was developed in the 60-176035
As stated in the issue bulletin, a drain pan is installed at the bottom of the heat exchanger, a tank is installed below it to store the dehumidified water collected by the heat exchanger, and a drain pan is installed at the water intake port of this tank for discharging the dehumidified water. It is equipped with a drainage hose. This kind of conventional dehumidifier drainage system is explained in FIG. 3. 16 is a dehumidifier main body, and this main body has a radiator I7, a blower I8, a cooler I9, and a compressor 20 inside, and is a well-known dehumidifier. A drain pan 21 is installed at the bottom of the cooler 19, and a water tank 22 is provided opposite the bottom of the drain pan 21 to store the dehumidified water received by the drain pan 21. There is a drainage outlet leading to the drain. Fourth
To explain the tank in the figure, 23 is a drain port provided in the water storage tank 22, and this drain r123 is designed to discharge dehumidified water to the outside when the amount of water in the tank 22 exceeds a certain amount. It is provided. 24 is a drain hose connected to the drain port.

As described above, in the conventional dehumidifier, the tank is simply located between the drain pan and the tank in the part corresponding to the drain port provided in the drain pan. There was a problem that if the drain pan was clogged with dust, dehumidified water would overflow from the drain pan. Therefore, when this dehumidifier is installed in a closet or the like to dehumidify the inside of the closet, there is a risk that the dehumidified water will overflow.

In order to achieve the above objective, the drainage channel that connects the drain pan and water storage tank at the bottom of the heat exchanger is constructed of a drainage pipe and a substantially U-shaped pipe that covers the area around the drainage pipe. The substantially U-shaped pipe receives water overflowing from the end of the drain pipe when a drainage abnormality occurs.

As described above, when the drain pipe forming the drain channel between the drain pan at the bottom of the heat exchanger and the water storage tank becomes clogged, dehumidified water overflows into the approximately U-shaped pipe attached to cover the drain pipe. The substantially U-shaped pipe is opened at the top of the water storage tank, and overflowing water from the drain pipe is led to the tank. Since the two-stage drainage structure is adopted as described above, even if the drain pipe becomes clogged, water can be prevented from overflowing into and outside the dehumidifier.

Further, the dehumidifier 3 is installed on the back side of the storage box 2, as shown in the figure. This is so that when a futon or the like is placed on the top surface 2b of the storage box 2, it does not get in the way. The control section 4 includes an operation section 10 for controlling the operation of the dehumidifier 3, and also includes a water droplet tank 11 shown in FIG. This control section 4 is located near the frontage of the closet, and facilitates the operation of the dehumidifier 3 and the discharge of water accumulated in the water storage tank 11 to the outside.

Next, connect the drainage path of the dehumidified water accumulated in the drain pan 12 to the second
To explain using a diagram, in the diagram, I3 is a drainage channel connecting the drain pan 12 and the water storage tank 11, and this drainage channel 13
is composed of a drain pipe 14 and a substantially U-shaped pipe 15 that covers the lower side of the drain v14. One end 14a of the drain pipe 14 is provided opposite to the lower part of the drain port 12a of the drain pan 12. Also, the other end is a water tank 11
It is located opposite the entrance. The approximately U-shaped pipe 15 receives overflowing water from both ends of the drain pipe 14 and drains into the storage box 2.
Alternatively, it serves to prevent dehumidified water from spilling into the closet, and in the event that the drain pipe 14 becomes clogged with foreign matter or dust, the dehumidified water that overflows from the opposite part of the drain port 12a of the drain pipe 14 is transferred to a water storage tank. It also plays the role of leading to 11th.

When the futon drying dehumidifier having such a configuration is operated to dry and dehumidify the futon, the dehumidified water discharged at that time is drained as follows. First, to dry and dehumidify the futon, the futon stored in the storage box 2 is dried by warm air that passes through the ventilation duct 6 in the storage box 2 from the warm air outlet of the dehumidifier body 1 and blows out from the warm air outlet 5 of the cerebellum box 2. Use a futon to remove moisture from the infield. In addition, drain the dehumidified water as follows. The dehumidified water condensed by the cooler 8 drips into the drain pan 12, and drops from the drain port 12a to the end 14a of the drain pipe 14 located below. The dehumidified water flowing through the drain pipe 14 is stored in a water storage tank 11 installed in the control unit 4.
