【考案の詳細な説明】 この考案は、空気調和機の冷房運転時に補助ド
レンパンの外壁に付く結露水の確実なる処理に関
するものである。

第1図に示されるような空気調和機に於いて、
その内部には本体フレーム1とそれにネジ止めさ
れた熱交換器2及び送風機3等を有し、吸込口4
より吸入された室内空気は、冷水を内部に通水し
た熱交換器2によつて冷却され、吹出し口5より
室内に戻り冷房運転が行なわれる。この際熱交換
器2の表面には大量のドレンが発生するが、それ
をすみやかに機外に排出するために、主ドレンパ
ン6が熱交換器2の下部に設けられており、熱交
換器表面に発生したドレンは主ドレンパン6内に
滴下した後、主ドレンパン6の勾配に従つて本体
フレーム1の片側に固定された補助ドレンパン7
に導びかれる、補助ドレンパン7の下部問排水口
7aにはドレン排水管8が接続され、それによつ
てドレンは機外に排出される、このドレン排出構
造は主ドレンパン6に直接排水管が接続されてい
ないので、排水管等の配管完了後にも自由に主ド
レンパン6の着脱が可能であり、主ドレンパン6
のメンテナンスや清掃が大変らくに出来るという
メリツトをもつている、しかしながら反面、ドレ
ンパンを2つに分けているため両方のドレンパン
にドレン処理時の外壁面冷却による結露水発生及
びその結露水が床上に滴下するという事故を防ぐ
ための断熱材9を貼る必要があり、はなはだ不経
済であつた、また補助ドレンパン7は本体フレー
ム1の外側に取付られているため、配管工事や据
付工事のさいに工具等が当つて外側に貼つている
断熱材9が破れたり、はがれたりすることがまま
あつたり、断熱材9の寸法や貼り方が不適当であ
ると、それが補助ドレンパン7の内側に入り、内
部に滞留したドレン水を吸い上げて、それが床上
に滴下するという問題も有していた。
