[Prior art] Conventionally, this type of waterproof shoes was made by sewing a woven fabric with vinyl chloride, rubber, etc., but the woven fabric itself did not stretch well, and the rubber attached to it did not stretch well. Because they are hard, they are difficult to fit around the foot when in use, and they also have drawbacks such as being uncomfortable to wear.

The waterproof shoes according to the present invention include a shoe body 4 formed by providing a covering layer of thin rubber 3 on the surface of a sock-like fabric 1, a fastener 8 in which an articulator 7 is provided on two strips of tape 6, and an excess waterproofing material. The sheets 16 are arranged overlappingly to form an overlapping body 17, and the cotton cloth 9 with the outer surface of the rubber coating 15 is sewn onto both sides of the overlapping body 17 by bias sewing 14.
A fastener unit is constructed by attaching the sole 18 to the lower surface of the shoe body 4, and arranging the fastener unit longitudinally inside the shoe body 4.
The surplus waterproof sheet 16 is bonded to the shoe body 4 through the rubber coating 15 of the fastener unit, and a coating layer of thin reinforcing rubber 10 is provided at appropriate locations including the peripheral edge of the fastener unit and the portion spanning the shoe body 4. A long groove-shaped cutout 13 is provided in the shoe body 4 at the overlapped portion with the shoe body 4, and the upper ends of the fabric 1, thin rubber 3, fastener unit, and thin reinforcing rubber 10 are arranged on the same horizontal plane.

In addition, the method for manufacturing waterproof shoes according to the present invention includes leaving the upper end of the shoe opening on the surface of the sock-like fabric 1 and covering it with thin rubber 3 having high flexibility and elongation to form the shoe body 4, and forming the shoe body 4 with two strips of tape 6. An overlapping body 17 is formed by overlapping the surplus waterproof sheet 16 on the fastener 8 on which the articulator 7 is provided, and a cotton cloth 9 having a rubber coating 15 on the outer surface side is attached to the side edge of the overlapping body 17. By bias sewing 14, the fastener unit is adhered to the upper part of the heel part 5 on the inner rear side of the shoe body 4 with the foot mold 2 inserted through the rubber coating 15 of the cotton fabric 9, and the rubber coating 15 of the cotton fabric 9 is attached. After covering the outer surface and the shoe body 4 with a thin reinforcing rubber 10 and vulcanizing the thin rubber 3 and the thin reinforcing rubber 10, the shoe body 4 is removed from the foot mold 2, and the surplus waterproof sheet 16 is removed. This shoe is characterized by providing a long groove-shaped incision 13 in the shoe body 4 located on the inside and cutting off the fabric at the upper end of the shoe opening.

The surplus of the surplus waterproof sheet 16 refers to the surplus of the surplus waterproof sheet 16.
This refers to the length that is left over from the horizontal length of the circumferential surfaces connected by the wire, and that surplus length is always stored by bending. This is the change in the length of the circumferential surface when the fastener 8 is opened, or in other words, the length that allows the fastener 8 to open.
