軟質弾性部材の他半部で上側の被係合凹部を被覆
する一方、このドリツプモールの上側の被係合凹
部とこれを係着させるドリツプチヤンネルの上側
縁との間に、所要のクリアランスを車外側フラン
ジに沿つて設定し、このクリアランスに前記軟質
弾性部材の他半部を圧縮状態で介装したことを特
徴としている。

で、小さな力でドリツプモールをドリツプチヤン
ネルに取り付けることができ、ドリツプモールの
取り付け作業性が良くなる。しかも、前記ドリツ
プモールの上側の被係合凹部よりも上方の背面に
軟質弾性部材の一半部を接着し、この軟質弾性部
材の他半部を前記ドリツプモールの溝状の凹部内
側に向けて曲折形成し、この軟質弾性部材の他半
部で上側の被係合凹部を被覆しているので、ドリ
ツプモールの下側の被係合凹部をドリツプチヤン
ネルの係止凸部にあてがいながら、ドリツプモー
ルの上側の被係合凹部をドリツプチヤンネルの上
側縁に係着して取り付けた場合、ドリツプモール
の上側の被係合凹部の突縁とドリツプチヤンネル
の上側縁との間に、軟質弾性部材の屈曲部分が挾
まれ、ドリツプモールがドリツプチヤンネルの塗
膜に直に当接しないので、ドリツプチヤンネルの
塗膜に擦過傷が付くことがない。さらに、ドリツ
プモールの上側の被係合凹部が軟質弾性部材の他
半部をクリアランス内に圧縮しながらドリツプチ

リツプチヤンネルの車外側フランジに波打ち状の
接合歪がある場合でも、該車外側フランジの波打
ちを軟質弾性部材の圧縮量差で吸収し、ドリツプ
モールの取り付け姿勢を波打ちのない良好なもの
にすることができて、品質感を向上することがで
きる。
