Abstract

A latching device comprising a mounting base 10 and a handle 12 pivotally coupled to the base, the handle being movable between first and second positions. 結具。 4 ハンドルの尖端部が一体的に形成されたもの
である、特許請求の範囲第3項に記載の締結具。 5 掛け止めプレートがハンドルの尖端部を介し
て係合可能とされる係合面部を有する、特許請求
の範囲第3項又は第4項に記載の締結具。 6 掛け止めプレートが更にハンドルの尖端部と
係合可能とされる突起を有する、特許請求の範囲
第5項に記載の締結具。 7 掛け止めプレートがプラスチツク材料から形
成されるとともに取り付け基台に設けられた一対
の対向蝶番取り付け開口に嵌合可能に一体成形さ
れた蝶番ピンを有し、上記掛け止めプレートが第
2軸の横断方向に湾曲可能にせしめて両蝶番ピン
の端部間距離を短縮することにより該掛け止めプ
レートを取り付け基台に取り付け・取り外し可能
とした、特許請求の範囲第1項〜第6項のいずれ
かに記載の締結具。 8 取り付け基台がストツプ部材を含み、該スト
ツプ部材がハンドルの係合部分と係合して上記ハ
ンドルの第1及び第2位置での運動を制限する、
特許請求の範囲第3項〜第7項のいずれかに記載
の締結具。 9 ハンドルに錠前を取り付けて該ハンドルを第
1位置に拘束せしめるようにした、特許請求の範
囲第1項〜第8項のいずれかに記載の締結具。
[Scope of Claims] 1. A fastener for latching a closing body such as a door plate or a window, or a fixed frame member to which the movable wing member is hinged, at a latching position of a fixed frame member to which the closing body or movable wing member is hinged, comprising: a mounting base mounted to the frame member; a handle pivotally mounted to the mounting base via a first axis; and a handle mounted to the mounting base via a second axis substantially transverse to the first axis. a latching plate pivotally mounted on the handle; the handle having an engagement surface engageable with the latching plate by movement about the first axis; The movable wing member is hung from the fixed frame member by pivoting about the axis and causing the latch plate to protrude from the mounting base to cover the boundary between the fixed frame member and the movable wing member. The latching plate is formed of a plastic material and has a hinge pin integrally formed to be able to fit into a pair of opposing hinge mounting openings provided in the mounting base, and the latching plate is arranged transversely of the second axis. According to any one of claims 1 to 6, the latching plate can be attached to and removed from the mounting base by making it bendable in the direction and shortening the distance between the ends of both hinge pins.
