In other words, it is difficult to mold the document presser main body made of a molded product into an accurate flat surface, and warpage occurs as shown exaggeratedly in the second (!l). The elastic member 4 attached directly to the document holder body 5 may curve.
It won't be flat.

原稿押え装置を提供することを目的とする。The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and uses a document presser main body made of a molded product and a document platen glass plate.
An object of the present invention is to provide a document holding device which can uniformly press a document without creating a gap between the document and the document and which can make it difficult to read the edges of the document.

It has a structure that allows it to be installed.

Therefore, the elastic member is kept flat at all times. Therefore, the elastic member can uniformly press the original against the original platen glass on a flat surface, thereby preventing the original from shifting and making it difficult to read the edges of the original.

Reference numeral 5 indicates an elastic member made of a sponge or the like to which the sheet 3 is attached on one side, and 5 indicates a document presser body made of a resin molded product. A reinforcing plate 10 is attached to the back surface of the elastic member 4 (the surface opposite to the side to which the sheet 3 is attached). This reinforcing plate 10 has appropriate rigidity necessary to keep the elastic member 4 flat. The reinforcing plate 10 is attached to the original holding body 5 at its four corners with elastic bodies 11 made of small sponges or the like. Here, even if the original presser main body 5 is bent due to warping or the like during molding, the plurality of small elastic bodies 1
Since the reinforcing plate 10 is attached by the reinforcing plate 1, the curvature thereof does not affect the elastic member 4, and the elastic member 4 is always kept flat by the reinforcing plate 10.

。In FIG. 1, a document 2 is placed on the document table glass l, and the document holding device is closed. As a result, the elastic member 4 kept flat by the reinforcing plate IO presses the original 2 against the original platen glass l. At this time, even if the elastic member 4 is slightly inclined with respect to the document glass 1, since the elastic body 11 is easily deformed, the elastic member 4 becomes parallel to the document glass 1.
The document can be brought into close contact with the document table glass without creating a gap between the document and the document table glass. In this way, the original does not move or lift up, and the shadow of the edge of the original is hardly readable. As is clear from the above description, the present invention has the advantage of using an elastic member for holding down the original. By attaching a reinforcing plate to the back surface and attaching the reinforcing plate to the document holder main body via multiple small elastic bodies, the elastic member is not affected by the curvature of the document holder main body, and the elastic member is always attached to the reinforcing plate. The elastic member kept in a flat shape can hold the original evenly without creating a gap between the original and the glass platen, which prevents the original from shifting and also prevents the edges of the original. This has the effect of making it difficult to read.
