``Prior Art'' At construction sites, when fixing the intersections of vertical and horizontal reinforcements, sluggish iron wire (iron wire made soft by sintering) is usually used. In this case, as shown in Figure 5, two commercially available straight sluggish iron wires are
~ About 100 to 200 pieces of reinforcing steel are pulled out from a bundle of about 3,000 pieces, gathered together and held in the worker's hand, and when tying the reinforcing bars, one by one is pulled out with the other finger, and the raw iron wire is doubled. They tied the intersections of the reinforcing bars in cross-ties and twisted both ends to bind and secure them. The reason why two pieces of slug iron wire are used is that the binding strength is high and the number of times of tying can be reduced. Here, the commercially available form of binding wire is a bundle of several thousand straight wires as described above, so when pulling out several hundred wires, the worker usually wears work gloves, so it is difficult to carry out the work. Not only is it troublesome, but the remaining wires may become loose, tangled, scattered near the work area, or bent, resulting in a lot of loss of binding wires.
Furthermore, in order for the person concerned and the next worker to use the separated wires, the ends must be aligned and straightened, which is a problem in that it takes too much time and effort.

In addition, since the bundle of iron wires in the hands is held directly, the number of iron wires decreases as the work progresses, and the gaps between the wires expand in the hands, causing them to unravel and become untied. There is a problem that it becomes difficult to carry out the process smoothly and safely.

``Problems that the invention attempts to solve'' This invention does not require the work of converging the wires cut to size and the work of bending them into a U-shape at the reinforcing bar binding site.
You can start work quickly just by grasping both ends, and you can hold a large number of strands in your hand, and you can not only feed out the central bent part of the strand from your hand one by one, but also be able to work easily. The object of the present invention is to obtain a reinforcing bar binding wire that can hold wires in a bundle even though the number of wires in the hand is reduced.

``Means for Solving the Problems'' In this proposal, a plurality of reinforcing bar binding strands cut to a fixed size are bundled irregularly in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and parallel to the longitudinal direction. It is constituted by a U-shaped binding wire, which is formed by bending the center portion of the wire bundle into a U-shape, bringing together both ends of the wire bundle, and binding with a binding member.

``Function'' Therefore, when binding the intersections of reinforcing bars with binding wire at a construction site, hold both ends of the U-shaped wire bundle in your left hand via the binding member, and fold it with your thumb. Extrude and feed out one curved section, and use your right hand to wrap it around the reinforcing bar intersection to tie the intersection. If you repeat this operation, the number of strands in your left hand will decrease and the gap between the strands will increase, but by tightening the binding member in your left hand, both ends of the strand bundle will be secured by the binding member. combined into one,
Thereby, the U-shaped bends are kept in a focused state without being dispersed.

"Embodiments" The present invention will be described below based on embodiments shown in the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a wire bundle for bundling reinforcing bars according to the present invention. In the figure, reference numeral 1 indicates a binding element wire bent in advance into a U-shape, 1a indicates the U-shaped bent portion, and 2 indicates a binding member. In addition to a simple U-shape, one of the strands made of raw iron wire has a narrow spacing between the parallel parts on both sides, as shown in Figure 2, to create a repulsive force when the bundle is held in the hand. You can also make it smaller so that you can hold it in your hand without using any force. Holding the bundle of wires having the above structure in the left hand, when working on tying reinforcing bars, one can be pushed out with the thumb of the left hand and pulled out with the right hand. FIG. 3 shows an outline of an apparatus for manufacturing this wire bundle into a cylindrical shape. In Fig. 3, reference numeral 11 denotes a drum on which a long slug iron wire with a diameter of 0.8 mm is wound, and 12 a cutting machine that straightens the slug iron wire and cuts it into a fixed size or length (for example, 50 cm). , 13 is an alignment plate for receiving the sluggish iron wire continuously projected from the cutting machine 12 and aligning the ends;
14 is a conveyor for conveying the raw iron wire; 15 is a weighing machine that weighs the raw iron wire and discharges it when a specified weight has been accumulated; 16 is a conveyor that receives and conveys the raw iron wire discharged for each specified weight; 17 18 is a receiver that is fixed to this conveyor and supports each rounded iron wire bundle weighed by the weighing machine 15 in a cylindrical shape; 19 is a binding machine that binds the base end of the bent wire bundle with a binding member; 20 is a guide chute that stores the bundled wire bundle in a packaging box. Fourth
The figures show parts of the folding machine 18, with FIG. 4a being a plan view and FIG. 4b being a side view. In this figure, when the receiver 17 of the conveyor 16 passes the tip of the conveyor, the rod 18A descends and confronts the center of the wire bundle. Next, the bending roller 18B, which has been on standby, rotates horizontally about the rod 18A, bending the wire bundle into a U-shape. When this bending is completed, the binding machine 19 is operated to wind the binding member into the state shown in FIG. Once this is completed, the rod 18A
rises, and the bending roller 18B returns to its normal position. Then, the bent wire bundle loses its support and falls into the chute 20 shown in FIG. 3, where it is stored in a box. In this way, a certain amount of wire bundles are bundled in a U-shaped state and can be shipped as a product. In the above embodiment, an example was shown in which a sluggish iron wire was used as the binding wire, but in addition to this material, various binding wires such as vinyl-coated iron wire, synthetic resin wire, etc. can be used. The device and flat tape disclosed in US Pat. No. 3,369,573 may be used as the tying device 19, but other tying devices and tying needles may be used.

"Effects of the invention" Since the present invention is configured as described above, both ends of the wire bundle are tied together by the binding member 2, making it easy to hold both ends and reducing the work of converging and bending. It can be used for reinforcing bar binding work as is, and unlike conventional products, there is no loss or hindrance to work due to entanglement or bending of loose wires. Easy and quick to use. Furthermore, even if the number of wires in your hand decreases due to use, tightening the binding member 2 not only prevents the wires 1 from dispersing and maintains the bundled state, but also allows the central bent portion 1a of the wires 1 to be It has the advantage that it is easy to push out and feed out with the thumb, and the reinforcing bar binding work can be carried out smoothly and safely.
