Claims (1)
有し、キーボードを介して入力された処理命令を
、内部で生成される所定の動作クロツクに同期し
て実行する携帯型電子機器であつて、高速動作ク
ロツクを発生する高速動作クロツク発生回路と、
低速動作クロツクを発生する低速動作クロツク発
生回路と、前記電源として外部電源又は内蔵電池
のいずれを使用しているかを判別する電源判別回
路と、この電源判別回路の判別結果を受けて前記
高速動作クロツク発生回路又は低速動作クロツク
発生回路に作用し、外部電源使用時には前記高速
動作クロツクを選択する一方、内蔵電池使用時に
は前記低速動作クロツクを選択し、選択された動
作クロツクを択一的に使用に供する動作クロツク
選択回路を具備することを特徴とする携帯型電子
機器。 (2) 前記電源判別回路は、前記外部電源と前記
内蔵電池の給電合流点の下流側の電圧を検出する
電圧検出回路と、この電圧検出回路の検出電圧を
基準電圧と大小比較して前記電源として前記外部
電源か或はまた前記内蔵電池のいずれを使用して
いるかを判別する電圧比較回路からなることを特
徴とする請求項1記載の携帯型電子機器。 (3) 前記電源判別回路は、外部電源受電端子か
ら内蔵電池の給電合流点まで延びる線路の電圧を
検出する電圧検出回路と、この電圧検出回路の検
出電圧を一定の基準電圧と大小比較して前記電源
として前記外部電源か或はまた前記内蔵電池のい
ずれかを使用しているかを判別する電圧比較回路
からなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の携帯型
電子機器。 (4) 前記電源判別回路は、外部電源受電端子か
ら内蔵電池の給電合流点まで延びる線路を流れる
電流を検出する電流検出回路と、この電流検出回
路の検出電流を一定の基準電流と大小比較して前
記電源として前記外部電源か或はまた前記内蔵電
池のいずれかを使用しているかを判別する電流比
較回路からなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の
携帯型電子機器。 (5) 前記電源判別回路は、前記外部電源の受電
端子に設けられ、前記外部電源の給電端子の接続
を受けて機械的に変位する接片と、この接片の変
位を電気的に検出し、前記外部電源の接続の有無
を判別する変位検出手段からなることを特徴とす
