Abstract

PURPOSE:To use the power of a power supply efficiently by providing an electronic equipment capable of employing a plural kind of power supplies with a means selecting a plural kind of functions in response to the kinds of the power supplies. CONSTITUTION:The connection of a dry cell 1 is detected by a detector 3, the connection of an AC adapter 2 is detected by a detector 4, and the detecting values are input to a control section 12. A power-supply secondary side unit 5 produces electronic-equipment exclusive voltage from the dry cell 1 or the AC adapter 2, and supplies power supply control sections 9-11 with electricity. The power supply control sections 9-11 feed a printer 6, an indicator 7 and an interface circuit with power. The control section 12 selects the power supply control sections 9-11 in response to the capacity of a power supply connected. The interface circuit at the low priority order is not supplied with electricity when only the dry cell 1 is connected, and all load is fed with electricity when the AC adapter 2 is connected.
