The method of welding using a heated mold is a method in which the mold is heated and the adherends are welded together using heat. By matching the shape of the mold to the shape of the adherend, It has the advantage of being adaptable to adherends of various shapes. However, the mold temperature changes depending on the surrounding atmospheric temperature and may drop as welding is repeated, so depending on the adherend, it may be extremely difficult to control the mold temperature. . For example, if the mold temperature is too high, the adherends will melt and deform during welding, resulting in poor appearance; if the mold temperature is low, welding will take longer, reducing productivity. or the adherends are not evenly welded together.
In other words, poor welding may occur.

Conventionally, in order to solve the above problems in manufacturing medical bags using heating molds, the welded part of the port with the film is molded into a boat shape or a rectangular cylinder shape, or the welded part is There is a method to prevent seal failure near the port by providing a fin and evenly welding the side wall of the boat-shaped part or square tube part or the fin part to the film (see Figure 2), A method using a laminated film containing a film having a high melting point has been adopted.

<Problem to be solved by the invention> However, forming the welded part of the port with the film into a boat shape not only takes a long welding time, but also
The moldability is poor because molding is performed using split molds,
It has the disadvantage of being expensive, and providing fins is also expensive due to the use of split molds, and forming a rectangular tube shape requires the use of automated lines for filling and sterilizing products with chemical solutions. When flowing with
The port part sometimes got caught in the machine, which was a problem.

<Means for Solving the Problems> In order to solve the above problems, the present invention is made entirely of thermoplastic resin and has a tubular shape, and has a flange-like mouth portion with a welding surface to the port cap, and an outer diameter In the opening member of a medical bag, the mouth member of a medical bag includes a drug solution passage portion having a smaller diameter than the outer diameter of the mouth portion and a circular cross-sectional shape, wherein a welded portion of the drug solution passage portion to a film constituting the bag is flat. In addition, a configuration is adopted in which the outer diameter of the flat welded portion is smaller than the outer diameter of the circular portion of the chemical liquid passage.

Note that the term "port cap" here refers to a cap that is welded to the mouth of a port in order to close the mouth.Generally, it has a welded surface to the mouth of the port, and a rubber stopper is installed in the chemical passageway. A type that is tightly plugged and whose port side is covered with a thin film is used.

In addition, since the outer diameter of the flat part is smaller than the outer diameter of the circular part, even if the product is passed through an automated line when filling with chemical solutions or sterilizing, the port part will not be drawn into the machine. Not only does it not get stuck, but the ports can be formed using a cutting die, making it possible to mold multiple pieces and reducing costs.

Medical thermoplastic resins are used as the material for forming the ports, but polyolefin resins such as polyethylene and polypropylene are preferred because they have good chemical resistance, are free from elution, and are inexpensive. In this case, as a matter of course, the film is also formed from the same polyolefin resin.
