By the way, the applicant of this application filed the earlier application
No. 36493), a plurality of support arms are provided on each side edge of two corresponding sides of a liftable car deck that is raised and lowered by a lift car, and each support arm is driven by a drive means provided on at least one of the liftable car deck and the lift car. We have proposed a liftable car deck for a car carrier in which the support part can be switched freely between a support position in which it protrudes to the outside of the side edge and a retracted position in which it does not protrude to the outside of the side edge.

The above driving means includes (1) a hydraulic cylinder connected to each support arm on the car deck side and a hydraulic pressure supply system that supplies hydraulic pressure from the lift car side; (2)
(3) A hydraulic cylinder that is swingably attached to the lifting table of the lift car with a gradient magnetic fluid. A device in which the support arm is driven via a link mechanism on the car deck side is used.

(Problems to be solved by the invention) In the above conventional device, there are a large number of parts such as a winch (or hydraulic cylinder) 161, rope 162, sheave 164, hook 160, etc. attached to the hull for each car deck panel. Not only are the design and manufacturing costs high, but also a large amount of design and manufacturing man-hours are required to mount them vertically on the hull, and multiple workers must work together when operating them. There is a problem.

That is, in the case of the drive means of (1) above, it is necessary to install four sets of hydraulic cylinders on the liftable car deck and to connect the hydraulic pressure supply system, so the drive means as a whole becomes very expensive. The automatic connection mechanism of the supply system becomes complicated and expensive. Said
In the case of the drive means (2), the handle must be manually operated each time the position of the support arm is changed, which is disadvantageous in terms of labor saving. In the case of the driving means (3) above, since each support arm is driven by a hydraulic cylinder through a complicated link mechanism, the link mechanism not only has a large number of parts and is heavy and expensive, but also Since the frictional resistance of each rotating part is large, the hydraulic cylinder becomes large and the spring that biases the support arm also becomes large.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The liftable car deck for a car carrier according to the present invention is a car carrier in which the height position of support on the ship body can be changed by placing it on the lifting table of a lift car and moving it up and down. In the liftable car deck, a plurality of support arms are attached to the periphery of the liftable car deck so as to be freely switchable between a support position where the support portions protrude outside the periphery and a retracted position where the support portions do not protrude outside the periphery; Each support arm is urged toward the support position by the urging means, and is driven upward in the vertical direction by the output actuation section of the drive means provided on the lifting table of the lift car, on the inner lower surface side of the approximately central portion of the liftable car deck. A driving force converting mechanism is provided which includes a rack member that is connected to the rack member, and a drum having a pinion meshed with the rack member, and each of the support arms is interlocked and connected to a wire winding portion of the drum of the driving force converting mechanism via a wire. A wire-type connection mechanism is provided.

(Function) In the liftable car deck for a car carrier according to the present invention, when the liftable car deck is raised and switched to the storage position, the output actuating portion of the drive means is activated when the liftable car deck is supported on the lifting table of the lift car. When the rack member of the driving force conversion mechanism is driven upward in the vertical direction, a drum having a pinion that meshes with the rack member is driven to rotate, and the wire of the wire type coupling mechanism is wound up, so that each support arm is driven to the retracted position. Ru. Either raise the liftable car deck on the lifting table and move each support arm to the retracted position as described above, or move each support arm to the retracted position and then lift the liftable car deck on the lift table. raise.

After the liftable car deck has been raised to a position slightly above the upper storage position, when the drive by the drive means is released, each support arm is switched to the support position by the urging force of the urging means, and the support portion thereof protrudes outside the peripheral edge. Therefore, when the elevating table is lowered, the liftable car deck is supported by the support arm toward the hull and becomes the storage position. Incidentally, when switching the liftable car deck from the storage position to the lower use position, the same operation as described above can be performed.

(Effect of the invention) According to the liftable car deck for a car carrier according to the present invention, as explained above, a drive means of a simple structure is provided on the lift table of the lift car, and the output operation part of this drive means generates a driving force. By driving the rack member of the conversion mechanism upward in the vertical direction, the drum is rotationally driven, and each support arm is switched to the retracted position against the urging force of the urging means via the wire type connecting mechanism. The structure of the drive means provided on the lifting table of the lift car can be simplified by arranging it vertically, and the drive force conversion mechanism can also be realized with a simple structure consisting of a rack member and a drum equipped with a pinion that meshes with the rack member. In addition, the wire-type connecting mechanism can be constructed to be simple, lightweight, inexpensive, and have low frictional resistance, mainly using wires and sheaves.

When the output operating plate 8a is raised by the hydraulic cylinder 8 of the lifting table 5 of the lift car V and the stopper plate 47 is driven upward, the rack member 43 rises to the upper limit position and the pinion 42 rotates counterclockwise in FIG. Then, the pair of left and right wires 20 are wound up by a predetermined amount, so that the support arm 9 is switched to the retracted position. When the output operating plate 8a is lowered, the wire 20 is let out by the elastic force of the spring 13, and the rack member 43 is lowered to the lower limit position.

Therefore, when changing the position of the liftable car deck 2 from the use position to the storage position or vice versa, the liftable car deck 2 is supported by the lifting table 5 of the lift car V and slightly raised from the pedestals 3a and 3b. In this state, by extending the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder 8, the output operating plate 8
When a is raised, the rack member 43 and pinion 4
2, the drum 41 rotates, and all the support arms 9 are switched to the retracted position via the wire-type connecting mechanism 15, which includes the wires 20, 20a, 20b, the triangular plate 21, the sheave 22, etc.

After lifting or lowering the liftable car deck 2, when the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder 8 is contracted while slightly floating above the pedestals 3a and 3b, all the support arms 9 are moved to the support position by the elastic biasing force of the compression coil spring 13. The liftable car deck 2 can be supported on the pedestals 3a and 3b.
