Revolving windows are generally opened by rotating the shoji around rotating shafts installed on the left and right or top and bottom of the window frame, and when closed, the window is opened to prevent wind and rain from entering the room between the window frame and the shoji. Tight material is attached to the four edges of the window frame and shoji to seal it. However, if the tight material deteriorates after long-term use and creates gaps, or if the tight material is turned over by strong winds, it may not be able to provide a sufficient airtight effect, allowing wind and rain to enter the room. It was hot. or,
Improving airtightness and watertightness has become an important issue for revolving windows, as rainwater can sometimes blow in through the drainage holes formed in the lower frame of the window due to backflow.

FIG. 1 is an overall front view of the revolving window, in which a glass 4 is fitted into a shoji 5 consisting of left and right vertical stiles 1, 1, an upper stile 2 and a lower stile 3. It is rotatably mounted within a window frame 9 consisting of a frame 7 and vertical frames 8, 8. This rotation is realized by the horizontal pivots 10, 10 protruding from the middle of the vertical frames 1, 1 of the shoji 5, and the pivots 10, 10 are connected to the vertical frames 8, 8 of the window frame 9.
It is supported by and rotates around pivots 10, 10.

FIG. 2 is a sectional view taken along the line A-A in FIG. 1, and since the airtight parts around the four circumferences of the window frame and each shoji screen have substantially the same configuration and appear substantially symmetrical, the cross sections of the other circumferential parts are omitted. In the same figure, the shoji 5 is composed of an outer shoji 11 on the outdoor side and an inner shoji 12 on the indoor side, and a blind 13 is provided between the outer shoji 11 and the inner shoji 12.
is attached and can be opened and closed vertically by operating from the indoor side. These outside shoji 11
Both of the inner shoji 12 and the inner shoji 12 are constructed by fitting glasses 14 and 15 into a shoji consisting of a vertical stile, an upper stile, and a lower stile, respectively, and mounting grooves are formed on the four circumferences of the outer shoji 11 on the outdoor side. An external tight member 16 that contacts the window frame is fitted into this mounting groove. The shape of the tip of the external tight material 16 is reversed at each symmetrical position because the direction of rotation is opposite to the rotation axis. Also, thick tight material 17 is fitted into the four circumferential parts of the window frame including the lower frame 7, and this tight material 17 is in contact with the four circumferential parts of the inner shoji 12, and these external tight material 16 Although the shoji and the window frame are sealed by the internal tight material 17, an auxiliary tight material 18 is further attached in the present invention.

The head of the auxiliary tight material 18 is fitted into a fitting groove 19 formed on the four outer circumferences of the outer surface of the inner shoji 12, and a thin tongue piece extends to block the outer surface of the inner tight material 17. , internal tight material 1
7 is in contact with the four peripheries of the window frame to which it is attached. The tip of this auxiliary tight material 18 need only slightly overlap and touch the wall of each frame at a position that shields the internal shoji 12 and the exposed portion of the internal tight material 17 on the four peripheries, and does not need to extend more than necessary. If it extends too much, the side of the auxiliary tight material 18 that will rotate in the indoor direction (in this example, the upper half of the shoji upper stile 2 and the vertical stile 1)
In this case, the tip of the auxiliary tight material 18 collides with the frame each time it rotates, making it difficult to open and close it. In addition, a groove 7a is provided on the outside of the room from the rising wall that the auxiliary tight material 18 of the window frame contacts, and has a shape that allows a space 23 to be formed with the outer shoji 11, and a drainage hole is provided on the lower surface of the groove 7a of the lower frame 7. 24 are drilled. Therefore, the inner shoji 12 and the window frame are doubly sealed by the internal tight material 17 and the auxiliary tight material 18, improving airtightness and watertightness. In particular, the auxiliary tight material 18 attached to the lower stile 20 of the inner shoji 12 has a drainage hole opened in the groove 7a formed by the lower frame 7 on the lower indoor side at a position in contact with the lower frame 7. 2
Even if rainwater intrudes from the backflow from 4, it is possible to effectively prevent the intrusion of rainwater.

FIG. 3 shows another embodiment of the present invention, in which the auxiliary tight material 18 extends around the four peripheries of the window frame, and the upper part also extends into the gap 21 between the outer shoji 11 and the inner shoji 12. It extends to close this gap 21. In this case, it is located on the outer periphery of the tight material 22 attached to the four peripheries between the inner and outer shoji,
Since the cavity 21 is double sealed, the internal shoji 1
Cold air that causes dew condensation on the second glass 15 and dust that stains the blind 13 are prevented from entering into the gap 21 between the inner and outer shoji.

Rainwater that enters the space 23 due to kinetic energy, air current, etc. falls freely within the space 23 or is blocked by the auxiliary tight material 18, falls into the groove 7a formed in the lower frame 7, and is drained from the drain hole 24. be done.
The rainwater blown up from the hole 24 is also auxiliary tight material 1.
8 to prevent it from penetrating into the internal tight material 17. Even if it were to enter, it is blocked by the internal tight material 17 and falls from the internal tight material 17 into the groove 7a.

Therefore, according to the present invention explained above, gaps may be created in the outer tight material due to deterioration, the outer tight material may be turned over by strong winds, or rainwater may blow in from the drainage holes formed between the inner and outer tight materials. However, the auxiliary tight material can effectively prevent intrusion. Even if they do get in, they can be stopped by the internal tight material. The falling rainwater is blocked by the auxiliary tight material and drained from the drainage hole in the groove of the bottom frame formed below the auxiliary tight material, so that rainwater can flow indoors through the gaps between the internal tight materials. It does not ooze out. Furthermore, since this auxiliary tight material is thin, there is no sense of resistance when the shoji is rotated, and it has the effect of not interfering with the rotation operation.
