設けられたシリンダ7bによって貫通孔3a内を進退運
動するようになっている。又チャック6の収束中心には
、センタ軸7aの先端を出没させる透孔8が形成され、
その透孔8内は、内方へ拡開した逆テーバ面となってい
る。一方センタ軸7aの先端は、先が尖ったセンタ7に
なっていると共に、そのセンタ7の突出時において、前
記透孔8内に貫通しているセンタ軸部分の周面が、その
透孔8の内側テーパ面に対応したテーパ面に加工されて
おり、それによってセンタ軸7aは突出時にテーパ形成
部9が透孔8に嵌合して正確に位置決めされる。

みならず、センタワーク加工による軸端部の加工もでき
る。又実施例のサブスピンドル付き旋盤は、メインスピ
ンドル1もサブスピンドル3と同様、チャック6とセン
タ7とを使い分けできる構造となっている。尚メインス
ピンドル1は、主軸台2が進退運動しない以外、サブス
ピンドルと同じ構造であるので、重複説明は省略するが
、メイン、サブいずれのスピンドルも、チャックとセン
タとに使い分けできるので、種々の加工に対応できる。
