わ押え2の肩半径がカップ4の底部の肩半径より大きい
ため、しわ押え2とカップ4底部の肩部の間には始めか
ら隙間5が存在する。カップ底部に隙間5があると、再
絞り過程でカップを十分拘束しきれずしわ押え力が十分
にかからなくなり、このためカップ底部の肩部周辺から
しわが発生する。発生するしわのうち、再絞り加工後期
にフランジ部に発生するしわは、再絞り加工によりフラ
ンジ部の板厚が厚くなっているため再絞りパンチと再絞
りダイスによるしごき作用が働き、再絞り加工過程で取
り除かれることもある。しかし、再絞り加工初期にカッ
プ肩部からカップ中間部に発生するしわは板厚が厚くな
っておらず、このためフランジ部のようなしごき作用は
十分に働くことなく、再絞り加工後もしわが残るのが現
状である。このカップ肩部から中間部にかけて発生した
しわは、続いて行なわれる2〜3段のしごき加工によっ
ても平滑にならず、むしろしごきむらとなり、これが缶
側壁に「黒筋」と呼ばれる外観不良を発生させているこ
とがわかった。また、前工程の成形でカップ底部の肩半
径を小さく成形しておき、再絞り加工でカップ底部に隙
間5がある状態、すなわちカップがしわ押えに密着して
いない状態では、再絞り加工の時の曲げ曲げ戻し変形に
よる繰り返し加工がきつくなり、強いショックラインが
発生するようになり、これは缶切れにつながる。

ーナー半径およびカップ底部コーナー半径について成形
試験を行なった。

まったく見られなかった。

説明したが角筒深絞り等の円筒以外の形状においても適
用できるのはいうまでもない。また、再絞り加工を2回
以上行なう場合においても、本発明の要件を満たすなら
ば同様の効果を得ることができる。
