shall be. A mooring device 6 is provided between the fixed structure 7 and the floating oil embankment main body 1 in the figure, and a connecting device 5 is provided between the floating oil embankment main body 1, respectively. In FIG. 2, the connecting device 5 has a length with shackle 4 provided at both ends.
It consists of an elastic chain 3 with a length of 4.0 m, and is connected to stubs 2 protruding from the upper and lower parts of both ends within l 3 (=0.5 m) from the end of the floating oil embankment body 1.

When an external force (particularly a lateral load) such as stagnant oil, wind, or tidal current acts, the elastic chain 1 having a spring effect stretches, and the floating oil embankment expands in a parabolic shape.
The mooring device 6 has the same configuration as the connecting device 5 described above.

However, the conventional connection and mooring devices for floating oil embankments do not allow the connection and mooring devices to function properly when an external force (lateral load) is applied to the floating oil embankment due to accumulated oil, wind, tidal currents, etc.
The tension causes the elastic chain with a spring effect to stretch, and the entire floating oil embankment expands into a parabolic shape. The greater this spread, the less tension is exerted on the coupling and mooring devices, allowing for smaller chain diameters and anchorages.

However, the maximum elongation of an elastic chain with a spring effect is about 15%, so the expansion is insufficient.
I needed something with the chain diameter. In addition, if there was no slack in the mooring/coupling device, manufacturing errors in the length of the floating oil embankment and the length of the chain had to be controlled very strictly.

In addition, the floating oil embankment connection and mooring device of the present invention is intended to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, and by adding a chain to the elastic chain having a spring effect, it is possible to prevent slack in the mooring and connection device. The synergistic effect of this slack and the elongation of the elastic chain with a spring effect allows the floating oil embankment to have sufficient expansion. The purpose is to provide a connection and mooring device for floating oil embankments.

For this reason, the floating oil levee connection and mooring device of the present invention has a plurality of floating oil levee bodies disposed at intervals between fixed structures and a longitudinal direction between the floating oil levee bodies. A floating float consisting of a connecting device that connects the upper and lower parts of both ends, and a mooring device that connects one end to the fixed structure and the other end to the floating oil embankment body closest to the fixed structure, and moored to the fixed structure. In an oil levee coupling device and mooring device, chain-shaped objects are arranged at both ends of the elastic chain in order to spread the floating oil levee and the elastic chain disposed at the center of the connection and mooring device into a parabolic shape. It is characterized by

With the above configuration, the chain attached to adjust the length has sufficient slack in the connection and mooring device, so when a lateral load is applied to the floating oil embankment, the floating oil embankment will not expand. The load on the coupling and mooring devices is reduced.

The floating oil embankment body 1 is connected to sills 2 that protrude from the upper and lower parts of both ends within l 3 (=0.5 m) from the end of the main body. Note that both the upper and lower chains 5' are type 3 chains, and the upper chain diameter is 84 mmφ, and the lower chain diameter is 76 mmφ. The mooring device 6 has the same configuration as the connecting device 5 described above.

When external forces (particularly lateral loads) such as stagnant oil, wind, and tidal currents act, the elastic chain 1 with a spring effect stretches, the floating oil embankment expands in a parabolic shape, and acts on the connection and mooring device. Tension is reduced and the chain diameter can be reduced. Incidentally, as the length of the chain 5' becomes longer, the tension acting on the connection and mooring devices is reduced, but this is naturally limited by the layout of structures such as oil tanks.

As described in detail above, the floating oil levee connection and mooring device of the present invention is capable of applying lateral loads to the floating oil levee body by arranging inexpensive chain-like objects at both ends of an elastic chain having a spring effect. When this occurs, the floating oil embankment forms a parabolic shape, which has the effect of reducing the load acting on the coupling and mooring devices.
